Roman Reigns is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of the modern era, who has been a part of some of the biggest moments of the show. He is in the company for over a decade and has been a top star of the company throughout his journey. He is a nine time champion in WWE which involves six world championship reigns.

Although Reigns is always in his prime, the last four years of his career is beyond the expectations where he elevated the storylines and feuds to a whole new level as a heel. He set a number of monumental records and reached great milestones with ease. He is currently having one of the longest world championship reigns with 1300+ days reign as Universal Champion and 720+ days a WWE Champion.

This monumental reign has made him one of the GOATs in the industry, and one of the GOAT’s John Cena himself has spoken about it on multiple occasions. Now, Roman has spoke about his current reign by comparing himself with the 16 time World Champion, John Cena and claims his spot.

Roman Reigns over John Cena

Roman Reigns recently appeared on the Pat McAfee show, where The Tribal Chief compared his current title reign with John Cena’s all the 16 title reigns. Roman claims that he is more of a quality than a quantity.

Roman Reigns said,

“I don’t take anything away from anybody. What John has done, as far as generations come, that is GOAT level stuff but for me, it’s always been about quality, not quantity. John has a lot of title reigns, but he doesn’t have a title reign that can compare to what I’ve done in the last 4 years.”

“This quality that I’ve put on display, it speaks for itself. The business backs everything that has happened. It’s made this place more lucrative than it’s ever been, it’s made this place attractive. My reign has gone through the most crazy & turbulent time in WWE history. That says a lot. I will always take the quality of this run over going 14, 15, 16 times.”

Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 Night 2. Will he be able to continue his reign by retaining the championship title? Comment your thoughts below.
