Roman Reigns now has a new nickname
Roman Reigns is on the verge of returning an iconic nickname from his past. A recent TikTok video sparked speculation after it seemed to showcase new Reigns-branded merchandise, hinting at a potential change in the dominant Superstar’s persona.
Roman Reigns stayed as WWE’s reigning force as the head of The Bloodline, But, currently Reigns is engaged in a high-stakes feud with his family members.
The Ula Fala, a symbolic necklace of Samoan warrior tradition, has become a central part of this ongoing battle for dominance, particularly in his rivalry with Solo Sikoa.
Despite the internal strife, Reigns remains focused on maintaining his place as their Tribal Chief of the Bloodline.
In the TikTok clip, Roman Reigns was asked how he achieved his elite physical condition, a question many fans are curious about given his powerful in-ring presence and fight through leukaemia. His answer was simple yet revealing, reflecting his work ethic and mindset as a top-tier athlete in WWE:
“You’ve gotta be miserable all the time until you get so used to it that you’re not miserable anymore,” Reigns said. “There’s no secrets, there’s no shortcuts—eat clean, work hard, get in shape.”
While the response resonated with those aspiring to reach his level of physical prowess, the video’s other elements caught fans’ attention.
In what seemed to be new merchandise, some speculate that Reigns may be revisiting one of his earlier nicknames, which could signal a new chapter in his career as the Tribal Chief.
What does ‘YTC’ stand for?
The T-shirt he wore in the video was a variation of the OTC (Original Tribal Chief) motif but with the initials YTC. Reigns has previously referred to himself as The Bloodline’s leader under the term ‘Your Tribal Chief’.
The ‘YTC T-shirt’ is not currently available in the WWE Shop, although Roman Reigns-branded slide sandals have been added recently.
On the October 18 edition of WWE SmackDown, Sikoa’s The Bloodline attacked Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso.
Whether or not this rumored nickname will stick remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: Reigns’ grip on WWE’s top spot shows no signs of loosening anytime soon.
Fans will be eagerly watching for any further developments as Roman Reigns continues to dominate both inside and outside the ring. On October 25, we will see Roman Reigns again appearing on the show. It would be interesting to see what he does.
