“The Tribal Chief” is training to make his in-ring return soon

Roman Reigns recently shared a video on social media showing him working out at a gym. The video was shared by American bodybuilder and actor, Kai Greene, as Reigns continues to work on his body despite his break from WWE.

After losing the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes in the main event of Night Two of WrestleMania 40, the Tribal Chief has taken a break. Meanwhile, The Head of the Table has been working on other projects, including a new film.

Now, a video that has just surfaced on social media indicates that Roman appears to be getting close to making his in-ring return in the Stamford-based promotion, but it is unknown when this will occur. However, The Tribal Chief is being touted for the go-home edition of SmackDown before the SummerSlam 2024 Premium Live Event, although it is unknown whether he will return before then.

Roman Reigns to return before WWE SummerSlam 2024 and face Solo Sikoa?

The Island of Relevancy no longer exists in WWE after Roman Reigns‘ last time at WrestleMania 40 in the spring. According to the most recent rumors, he will return for another match, this time at SummerSlam. As shown on the post-WrestleMania 40 edition of SmackDown, Solo Sikoa has added “MFT” Tama Tonga to The Bloodline and is attempting to become the new Tribal Chief in the absence of Roman Reigns.

Solo and Tama also assaulted Jimmy Uso, threatening to take him off WWE TV because of an injury sustained during his bout against brother Jey Uso at WrestleMania XL. For the time being, Solo and Tama will continue to improve their abilities on SmackDown. WWFOldSchool provided an update on the matter, stating that Roman Reigns’ next match will be against Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam 2024, which will take place on August 3rd at the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.

Roman Reigns is set to return to retake his position as Head of the Table before moving on to a rivalry with Sikoa, which will culminate in the SummerSlam fight. As a result, he is well-positioned to appear on SmackDown before to the summer’s biggest event. This commercial is just another sign that his extended absence will end during the summer, and he will return to compete in the August PLE.
