Seth Rollins' addition to WWE Summerslam match 'probably' not happening

Seth Rollins’ involvement at WWE SummerSlam may not be what many would expect to be
After recovering from his injuries at Money in the Bank, Seth Rollins faced Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins knew that a loss would bar him from facing Priest again.
Drew McIntyre’s music resurfaced after a botched pin in which Priest failed to kick out and the referee failed to count to three, after The Scottish Warrior’s victory earlier in the evening.
Making the match a triple threat by cashing in his contract, McIntyre lost due to CM Punk for the third time and missed his chance to win the title. An enraged Seth Rollins approached Punk as he sat on the announce desk grinning, costing him the chance to win the title in the future.
Seth Rollins will be at WWE SummerSlam but ‘probably’ not in a match
Punk and Rollins faced each other in the next Raw program, with Rollins cautioning Punk about the repercussions of his actions. The Visionary will not allow their disputes to be resolved in Cleveland, even if they have disagreements with The Best in the World and have made it clear there is friction on several occasions.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio said that Rollins would not be a formal participant in the McIntyre vs. Punk match and that the anticipated fight between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley will be made official for SummerSlam.
“Rhea Ripley, I was pretty much told that match [with Liv Morgan] is official and the Punk match is probable in some form. Rollins will probably be involved in that match, but I was told it was not going to be a three-way, or at least as of as of six days ago was not going to be a three-way.”
The former world champion chose to postpone surgery until after WrestleMania to participate in the biggest event of the year, even though he had been injured in January.
After participating in two bouts and contributing to the night two main event, Rollins had knee surgery and would not return until June 17th. Seth Rollins described the moment he was informed about preparations for a WWE comeback in a recent interview.
