Seth Rollins is one of the most successful WWE stars on the active roster!
Seth Rollins is one of the best wrestlers in the current wrestling industry, he is already in the talks of being in the Mount Rushmore of the wrestling industry of veterans. Rollins has been in the wrestling industry for so long since 2005 and has been in WWE since 2010.
He has monumental records in his arsenal with two WWE Championships, one-time World Heavyweight Champion, two-time Universal Champion, two Intercontinental Championships, two-time United States Champion and six-time Raw Tag Team Champion. He is the second wrestler to become the two-time Grand Slam Champion after The Miz.
Rollins is one of the few wrestlers who held almost every championship in the company and successfully defended it several times. However, the rumors suggest that he has also defended the Raw Women’s Championship and has a record over the five-time Raw Women’s Champion Sasha Banks. Here is a fact checker of the rumor.
Seth Rollins defended Raw Women’s title more than Sasha Banks
At Extreme Rules 2019, the Universal Champion Seth Rollins & Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch defended their title against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans in a last-chance winner-take-all-extreme rules mixed tag team match.
The mixed tag team matches the main event of the show. Both teams showcased extreme fights with the use of ringside weapons such as kendo sticks, steel chairs, trash cans and more.
In the final moments of the match, Baron Corbin performed End of Days on Becky Lynch, which angered Seth Rollins, who furiously attacked Corbin with the kendo stick and steel chair followed by three curb stomps to win the match and retain both his Universal Championship and Becky Lynch’s Raw Women’s Championship.
As Rollins successfully defended both the Universal & Raw Women;s titles subsequently, Rollins technically has more Raw Women’s Championship title defense than Sasha Banks, who held the Raw Women’s Championship five times, but lost the championship every time during the first title defense.
Banks have several incredible records in WWE, however, the Raw Women’s title defense has always been a nightmare for the Boss. Although Banks had bad luck with the red title, the blue brand’s SmackDown Women’s title had more luck than the Raw title.
