The Visionary had 2 matches at WrestleMania 40
Seth Rollins is one of the top WWE stars of the modern era, who has been involved in some of the big moments of the company. Rollins has been part of some of the high-profile storylines, matches, shows and monumental title reigns.
Rollins played a major role in this year’s WrestleMania 40 feuding with The Rock & Roman Reigns of The Bloodline and also defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre. Although Rollins played a big role, he lost both of his matches and also got attacked in the final moments of the Night 2 main event.
Since then, Rollins was not seen on television and there were no updates on him. However Becky Lynch has now revealed Seth Rollins’ WWE status in a recent interview.
Seth Rollins underwent knee surgery
Becky Lynch recently appeared on The Late Late Show, where Becky Lynch provided an update on her husband, Seth Rollins. Becky revealed that The Visionary underwent knee surgery on Tuesday. Lynch said that Rollins had torn his meniscus before WrestleMania. He is currently in rehab balancing his life with rehab and with the family.
Becky Lynch says,
“So, he just got surgery on Tuesday. So he had knee surgery, he tore his meniscus a little while before WrestleMania and so his rehab, I suppose, is running after being a little three years old now. That’ll be great for his knee surgery.”
Rollins tore his MCL and meniscus in January 2024, however he hasn’t missed any episodes in which he is scheduled to appear. Fought 40+ minutes in the main event of WrestleMania 40 Night 1 against The Rock, Roman Reigns teamed up with Cody Rhodes.
On Night 2, Rollins defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre in less than 24 hours from his tag team match and also made his appearance in the Night 2 main event. Seth Rollins has proved that he is a “Workhorse” of the company.
He has contributed so much to the company on the WrestleMania 40 weekend and also earned the respect of “The Final Boss” Rock, who praised him as the MVP of WrestleMania 40 weekend. It is unknown when Rollins will make his return to television. However, it is important to note that Rollins is nearing the end of the contract in a few months and has yet to sign a new contract.
