Shinsuke Nakamura to make his return at WWE SmackDown this week: Reports

Shinsuke Nakamura hasn’t been seen in WWE since April
WWE star Shinsuke Nakamura has been absent from WWE action since his last appearance six months ago. He last made his appearance in the April 22 episode of WWE RAW.
Since his last appearance, Nakamura has been kept away from the televised programming. In his last appearance on the red brand, he lost to Sheamus via pinfall.
Nakamura was drafted to SmackDown the following week but he didn’t make any appearance on the blue brand since then.
Shinsuke is a former 3-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion during his run at New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). He made his WWE debut in 2016 after leaving NJPW the same year.
Shinsuke Nakamura is expected to be at the SmackDown tapings this week
As per reports from PWInsider Elite, Shinsuke Nakamura is expected to make his long-awaited return at SmackDown during this week’s show in Brooklyn, New York.
WWE’s blue brand SmackDown’s 10/25 episode is scheduled to air live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, USA. WWE is also per-taping the next episode of SmackDown which would be the last episode before its Saudi Arabia PLE. The 11/01 episode of SmackDown will be pre-taped at the Barclays Center.
The promotion has planned a pre-taping of the November 02, 2024 episode of SmackDown immediately following the October 25th edition of SmackDown in Brooklyn, New York. This is due to the stars heading to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel 2024 the week after.
This week’s episode of SmackDown has some big stakes as MCMG are fighting DIY in the Tag Team tournament match, Cody Rhodes and Gunther are set to face off each other ahead of their Crown Jewel clash, Andrade will face Carmelo Hayes in their seventh match with LA Knight as the Special Guest Referee.
