Top three signs that Raquel Rodriguez will return at WWE Bad Blood 2024

Raquel Rodriguez could soon be making her WWE return
Rhea Ripley is all set to battle Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship at Bad Blood 2024. On the last episode of Monday Night Raw, Rhea Ripley told us that General Manager Adam Pearce, better known as Mr. Potato Head by Dominik Mysterio, has added a last-minute stipulation to the match. This stipulation suggests that Dominik will be locked in a shark cage that will be suspended on top of the ring during the Women’s World Championship match at Atlanta, Georgia.
This makes up for a difficult booking situation. Realistically, there is no way Liv Morgan is beating Rhea Ripley clean. But at the same time, Dominik Mysterio won’t be able to help her this time around because of the obvious stipulation barrier. So, then, is Liv Morgan losing the title already?
Well, I don’t think so, as Rhea Ripley chasing the championship is not weighing her down. There is still enough time for her to win the championship back before WrestleMania. But if Liv Morgan loses here, it will practically end her revenge tour and her involvement in the Judgment Day.
This is the best version of Liv Morgan that we have seen so far, and I don’t think WWE will take the title off her at Bad Blood. This could open the door for Raquel Rodriguez to make her return and help Liv Morgan retain her championship.
Here are 3 signs that indicate she might return at Bad Blood:
Rhea Ripley was the one that took Raquel out in kayfabe
A lot of people might forget this, but Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez used to be WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions when they had a beef with Rhea Ripley. This was when Rhea Ripley took her out by injuring her in kayfabe.
In reality, she was diagnosed with a skin condition and therefore had to take time off. And when Liv Morgan would come for revenge, Mami injured Liv too putting her on the shelf for several months. So, in many ways, Rhea is the real heel of the story. But sorry, none of us can help the fact that we love Mami.
However, Rhea Ripley’s past might come back to haunt her now. Raquel Rodriguez can be the one that makes an interference in the match and takes Rhea Ripley out, helping her former tag team partner regain the Women’s World Championship.
Liv Morgan vs Rhea Ripley is getting stale
Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley was a perfectly executed rivalry. It’s still really interesting, but in order for WWE to keep things fresh, they need to keep them away from each other for a while. We all know it will eventually culminate with Rhea Ripley winning the championship from Liv Morgan, but WWE is probably saving it for a bigger PLE like Royal Rumble or maybe Saturday Night Main Event.
We have already seen two one-on-one and one mixed tag team bout between the two, and they need some time off each other. This is the perfect time to bring Raquel Rodriguez into the picture. Her interfering in the match will give Ripley the opportunity to take on a new threat who is just as big and formidable as her and who is a much more even match for her on paper. This will also give fans the opportunity to get something fresh while still keeping the grudge feud alive between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan.
Team Liv Morgan vs Team Rhea Ripley could be a possibility for Survivor Series
WWE has not hinted at any future plans for Mami at the moment. As a result, there is a big possibility that Triple H is cooking something big behind the curtains and trying his absolute best to hide it from us. Now, Raquel Rodriguez vs. Rhea Ripley at Survivor Series does sound good, I will not lie. But what if we are getting the Survivor Series War Games match between Team Rhea Ripley and Team Liv Morgan this time?
The only difficult part with building this up for Survivor Series will be Rhea Ripley having a tough time recruiting members for her team as she had previously had a beef with half the roster. I can see Pure Fusion Collective joining forces with Liv Morgan and Raquel to complete their team.
As for Rhea Ripley, we might get Damage CTRL and Zelina Vega or Lyra Valkira helping her out, but WWE will have a tough time explaining the why and how of things if they are actually going for it. One thing that is for sure is that it will all make for must-see television in the build-up to Survivor Series.
