Bron Breakker defended his title for the first time after winning it last month
The current Intercontinental Champion, Breakker defended the title for the first following his victory against Jey Uso. Breakker defeated Jey Uso with outside interference from Solo Siko’s Bloodline to bag the IC title for the second time in his career.
Breakker also avenged his loss at the hands of Jey earlier where he lost the IC title. Breakker ended Jey’s title reigns after just 27 days in the rematch.
On the other hand, The Celtic Warrior, Sheamus has multiple WWE titles to his name but the only thing that is stopping him from becoming a Grand Slam Champion is the Intercontinental Title. However, his recent attempt at winning the title failed as his old nemesis interfered during the pre-taped match.
Neither man won the match as Ludwig Kaiser from the Imperium faction attacked Sheamus and Breakker which led to the fight ending in a no-contest. Breakker retained the title due to the disqualification. The Celtic Warrior will have to try his luck next time at the IC title.
