Karrion Kross was in action once again on WWE Main Event
WWE Main Event was first premiered on October 3, 2012, has served as a platform primarily for mid-to-lower card talent from the Raw roster, along with rising stars from NXT. The show is taped every Monday night prior to WWE Raw and generally features two matches, one from the men’s division and one from the women’s.
WWE positioned Main Event as a spiritual successor to WWE Superstars, which ran on WGN America before moving to WWE’s digital channels in 2011.
As part of a broader content deal, Hulu secured the rights to stream WWE’s weekly programming, including Main Event. When Ion dropped the series in 2014, WWE aired a special live edition from Detroit on its newly launched WWE Network, using it as a stress test for the platform ahead of WrestleMania XXX.
Before November 28, 2016, Main Event was taped ahead of SmackDown. However, with the debut of WWE Network’s 205 Live, the taping schedule shifted, and the show began filming before Monday Night Raw.
This week’s Main Event matches were taped after Raw in Louisville, Kentucky, and are set to air on Hulu this Thursday ( or on WWE’s YouTube channel around the globe).
