John Cena’s final Raw appearance is set for next week.
Ahead of next week’s Monday Night Raw, Netflix has officially confirmed that John Cena will wrestle on next week’s WWE Monday Night Raw, marking a monumental moment in wrestling history.
The episode, set for November 17 at Madison Square Garden, will be Cena’s final appearance on Raw before his retirement later this year. Cena captured the IC title to become a Grand Slam Champion in WWE during this week’s appearance.
Now he is set to compete in his final appearance, and here we will take a look at the top five WWE stars who can face John Cena in his final in-ring appearance on the Red brand.
5. Finn Balor

Despite multiple attempts from fans, Finn Balor has not really been given much push by WWE‘s Creative Team in recent times. Even the split between the Judgment Day faction and the rift between Balor and Dominik Mysterio has not materialized despite multiple teases.
The promotion could decide to pit Finn Balor against Cena next week. The 17-time World Champion has been elevating multiple stars on his way out, and a potential clash against Balor in his historic final appearance would be a great way to go. The two can deliver an incredible match, despite only having a single one-on-one match.

4. Bron Breakker

Touted as the future of WrestleMania and WWE, Bron Breakker’s insane rise to the main event has seen him fold people in half with devastating spears. Despite WWE’s hesitation, many feel that Breakker is ready to hold the World title, and if so, he is also ready to take on big names such as John Cena.
A potential match-up between the two in Cena’s final Raw appearance would be a feather and accolade in Breakker’s rising career.
3. Rey Mysterio

Cena, on his way out, has also revived his old rivalries, delivering iconic matches against CM Punk, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles, among others. However, a familiar face in Rey Mysterio, who has been absent from WWE since WrestleMania 41 due to injury, has made his return recently.
Rey even congratulated Cena backstage following his IC title win against Rey’s son and the then IC Champion Dominik Mysterio. Rey and Cena battling for the IC title next week would be a memorable night for fans.
2. Dominik Mysterio

Well, we can’t really have this list and not mention Dominik Mysterio, the guy who suddenly went from being a double Champion to battling Cena, with his IC title on the line, only because he wanted some retribution against Rey Mysterio for humiliating him last week.
Dominik could attempt to regain the Intercontinental title next week and challenge Cena for a rematch, calling on his Judgment Day members for some outside assistance.
1. CM Punk

After capturing the World Heavyweight title at the November 1 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, CM Punk put the entire roster on notice and even called out John Cena, stating that if Cena wants to try his luck at becoming the 18-time World Champion, he can get it.
Punk and Cena revived their rivalry and gave us an iconic feud in the lead-up to their Night of Champions clash. Fans wouldn’t complain if WWE decides to pit Cena and Punk against each other one final time next week.
