Tonga Loa could soon be replaced
Tonga Loa’s run in WWE hit an unexpected roadblock after he suffered a torn bicep during the 2024 Survivor Series: WarGames match.
The announcement of his injury came on WWE SmackDown, with Michael Cole confirming that the setback would sideline him indefinitely. This leaves Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline faction short-handed and in need of a new member.
Here are four WWE stars who could step in to fill the gap and shake things up in the revamped Bloodline.
4. Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre has been making waves since his return to RAW, including a brutal attack on Sami Zayn. Speculation is running wild that McIntyre could be behind the mysterious backstage assault on Jey Uso. His recent actions suggest he’s targeting the original Bloodline, making him a potential ally for Solo Sikoa.
While teaming up with McIntyre would be risky, Sikoa might see value in having The Scottish Warrior on his side, even if it’s temporary. The alliance wouldn’t come easy, given their history—McIntyre still holds a grudge against Sikoa for costing him the Universal Title against Roman Reigns.
3. Shinsuke Nakamura
The King of Strong Style is the current United States Champion and could be an intriguing addition to the Bloodline. On SmackDown, Solo Sikoa’s faction took out Andrade and LA Knight, but surprisingly spared Nakamura. This rare show of restraint has fueled rumors that the Bloodline might be eyeing Nakamura for a partnership.
Nakamura could benefit from the alliance, gaining extra protection to maintain his US Title reign, while Solo Sikoa could bolster his faction with Nakamura’s star power. It’s a potential win-win, even if it’s just a temporary truce.
2. Hikuleo
Hikuleo might be the perfect fit to step into Tonga Loa’s shoes. The 33-year-old star has reportedly signed with WWE, and his debut could be timed perfectly with Loa’s absence.
Hikuleo’s arrival would bring fresh energy and a familial connection to the Bloodline saga. Solo Sikoa could introduce him as a new member to strengthen the faction during this critical period. This move would not only address the gap left by Loa but also add another dominant force to the storyline.
1. Lance Anoa’i
Lance Anoa’i is another strong contender. As a member of WWE’s developmental roster, Lance has been honing his craft across independent promotions before stepping into WWE’s limelight.
Adding Lance to the Bloodline could be a natural progression for the faction. Solo Sikoa might use SmackDown as the stage to unveil Lance as the newest member, further cementing the Anoa’i family’s dominance in WWE.
