Six WWE stars who will make their Money in the Bank ladder match debut this year

Multiple Money in the Bank ladder match debutants announced for this year

Money in the Bank 2024 is the upcoming premium live event hosted by WWE on July 6, 2024, from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is the 15th annual MITB event, which will host two iconic Money in the Bank ladder matches.

Since MITB has been the main highlight of the show, here we take a look at the WWE Superstars who will be making their Money in the Bank ladder match debut this year.

Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match

Jey Uso

Jey Uso in his 14-year WWE career has never participated in the Money in the Bank ladder matches. This year marks his first Money in the Bank ladder match appearance. Jey has been a tag team wrestler for the majority of his career teaming up with his twin brother Jimmy Uso. This made him step away from singles competition for a very long time. However, he turned into a singles wrestler last year and is in his pursuit to become the singles champion. This will be the first major step for Jey to pursue his singles championship dreams.

Carmelo Hayes

Carmelo Hayes was a breakout singles wrestler in NXT and achieved major success in singles competition. He was called for his main roster debut in April 2024 in the very first round of the WWE Draft. Melo soon rose to be one of the unavoidable stars in the blue brand and now will be making his MITB debut this year. This is not only his MITB debut, but also his Premium Live Event debut in the main roster.

Chad Gable

Chad Gable in his decade-long career in WWE, never participated in the Money in the Bank ladder match. This year marks his first MITB ladder match appearance. Gable has been a tag team wrestler for a long time, which took him away from singles competition. Gable turned into a singles wrestler last year and has been impressive inside the ring. Gable after his failed attempts to win the Intercontinental Championship, shifted his focus to Money in the Bank, seeking a shortcut to become a world champion.

Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match

Chelsea Green

Chelsea Green has been in WWE since 2018 and never got a chance to compete in the Money in the Bank ladder matches. This year marks her first appearance in the MITB ladder match. She has been a jobber and a tag team wrestler in her run and this is her first major appearance after Royal Rumble.

Lyra Valkyria

Lyra Valkyria has been in WWE since 2020, where most of her appearances were in WWE’s secondary & regional brands NXT and NXT UK. She was called for his main roster debut in April 2024 and became one of the top women’s stars in the company. She was the runner-up in the Queen of the Ring tournament, losing her championship shot at SummerSlam, however, she is stepping into the Money in the Bank ladder match for the first time to earn a championship contract.

Tiffany Stratton

Tiffany Stratton is one of the fastest-rising WWE Superstars in the company, who has been absolutely impressive since her debut. Stratton has been in WWE since 2021 and soon was called for her main roster debut to compete against some of the big stars. Tiffany participated in some of the big matches within just months of her main roster debut and she will add one more major match to her resume, by entering into the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match for the first time.
