It’s high-stakes for some WWE stars competing at WrestleMania 42!
WrestleMania 42 is almost on the horizon and WWE has assembled one of the most star-studded cards for both nights.
It will feature major top stars who will compete in matches to deliver another successful edition of The Show of Shows.
However, this year, it’s a must-win situation for some WWE superstars at WrestleMania and here is a look at five of those names:
5. Liv Morgan
Liv Morgan won the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble and selected Stephanie Vaquer as her opponent for the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42.
Morgan has been on a rise since 2024 and this will be her first major singles showdown at The Grandest Stage of Them All in years, making it a must-win bout for the 2026 Royal Rumble winner.

4. Finn Balor
The rivalry between former Judgment Day cohorts, Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor will come head-to-head in a singles match at WrestleMania 42.
However, Balor will resurrect the Demon King for this match, and he must win the bout to keep the aura and impact of the character intact moving forward.
3. Rhea Ripley
Rhea Ripley won the 2026 Women’s Elimination Chamber match to earn a WWE Women’s Championship match against Jade Cargill.
Mami has been overpowered by Cargill for weeks and has not held the World title for more than a year. This title win is highly significant for Ripley at The Show of Shows this year.

2. Oba Femi
Oba Femi will have the opportunity of a lifetime at WrestleMania 42 when he will compete againstBrock Lesnar in a singles showdown.
The Ruler has been one of the fastest rising stars, who just arrived on the main roster. Therefore, he needs to topple The Beast to gain a significant push in his momentum.
1. Randy Orton
Randy Orton has unleashed his vicious side leading up to his Undisputed WWE title match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42.
Fans have been rooting for The Viper’s 15th World title win for months, while heavily booing Rhodes at the same time. So, WWE must book Orton to win the match to avoid major backlash at The Showcase of the Immortals.

WWE WrestleMania 42 will take place at the Allegiant Stadium on April 18 & 19 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
