The Texas Rattlesnake will be in Las Vegas on April 19 & 20!

Amid much speculation from fans, Stone Cold Steve Austin’s appearance during the WrestleMania 41 weekend has been confirmed. Since John Cena turned heel and aligned with The Rock, many fans were wondering if Austin would make his return to aid Cody Rhodes.

Stone Cold himself in an interview revealed that he has not been in contact with anyone and teased that anything could happen at the grandest stage. With over a month to go, Austin has been officially announced for an appearance at a WWE event on WrestleMania 41 weekend.

The announcement was made by Fanatics Events on X (Twitter) that the Texas Rattlesnake will make an appearance at WWE World in Las Vegas on April 19-20.

WWE World, which first launched during WrestleMania 40 week last year, is an interactive fan experience scheduled to take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from Thursday, April 17, to Monday, April 21. While there is still no confirmation of his WrestleMania appearance, he will at least be in town for the two-night event and we might hear glasses shatter.

Stone Cold believes he is in no position to offer John Cena advice following his heel turn

John Cena shocked everyone when he for the first time in his career turned heel, this highly unexpected heel turn was very similar to Austin’s own heel turn at WrestleMania 17, where he aligned with Vince McMahon. Many fans drew parallels between the two heel turns and he was asked about the same in a recent interview.

In a recent interview with Zack Heydorn of Sports Illustrated, Stone Cold reflected on his own heel turn, stating how poorly executed and received his heel turn was. Austin also stated that he is not in a position to give Cena any advice.

“No, I wouldn’t [give John Cena advice] because I loved working heel when I was in WCW. I loved working heel when I first came into WWE because that was a true heel. When I turned heel at WrestleMania 17, the people didn’t want me to turn heel. It was a forced turn. It was my idea. Vince always likes to do something big on a WrestleMania. He didn’t do anything big. So I suggested that and he said okay, but it was a shit move. People weren’t ready for it. People didn’t want it. I liked working heel. I just figured it would go over like gangbusters. So the heel I was trying to be was, you know, and trying to be so hated, so much, so fast. I think I tried too hard.

When I look back at it, sure, I got to push the creative envelope and do a lot of things that were cool or whatever, and push the envelope in a different direction and go out on a limb, but people didn’t want me to turn heel, and so I should have never done that. So I don’t think that I’m in a position where I need to offer John Cena any advice from Steve Austin.” Stone Cold said.

John Cena is now set to make his return on Monday Night Raw tonight for the first time since the Elimination Chamber PLE, Cody Rhodes is also set for an appearance and fans can’t contain their excitement for the face-off between the two tonight.
