The 9/2 episode of WWE Raw is the Bash in Berlin fall out show!
WWE is all set to host the September 02, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw from the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, United States. This is the Bash in Berlin fallout episode of Raw and is expected to be filled with the aftermath of the show.
WWE has booked some of the interesting matches and segments for the show including the continuation of the Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament. Ahead of the show, here are top five storylines to watch out for on WWE Raw this week.
5. The New Day split
There have been big rumors of the New Day getting split into two. The decade-long successful faction has been developing tensions within them, as Xavier Woods seemingly acts weird in recent times. Woods was upset with Kofi’s move of bringing Odyssey Jones to WWE and also was upset about their tag team match two weeks ago, where Woods didn’t get the tag throughout the match. Last week, Woods wore a full black gear, which is completely different from Kofi’s gear. At this stage they could initiate their split this week.
4. The Terror Twins’ next move
The Terror Twins defeated Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan at WWE Bash in Berlin. It seems like they are planning to make their next move this week. Ripley after pinning Liv Morgan could challenge her for the Women’s World title. On the other hand Priest could go on to face Finn Balor or will go on to challenge Gunther for the title rematch in the upcoming events.
3. IC title #1 Contender’s qualifiers
Last week on Raw, WWE started the Intercontinental Championship #1 Contenders tournament, where Jey Uso and Pete Dunne advanced for the finals. This week, two first round matches will be held including Sheamus vs Bronson Reed vs Ludwig Kaiser and Ilja Dragunov vs Dragon Lee vs Dominik Mysterio. With a stacked up match card on the first round IC title tournament, who will be joining Jey Uso & Dunne, entering the finals.
2. CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre 3.0
CM Punk took his revenge on Drew McIntyre at Bash in Berlin, by defeating him in a strap match and taking his bracelet back from him. Following the win, Punk during a backstage interview revealed that he is coming for the gold. However it seems like Drew vs Punk is not over yet. The rumors suggest that they could have the third match at Bad Blood with the first Blood stipulations. With this it seems like they could continue their storylines this week.
1. Gunther’s Era officially begins
‘The Ring General’ Gunther successfully defended his World title against ‘The Viper’ Randy Orton in his first title defense at Bash in Berlin. The Austrian made Orton unconscious to win the match by submission and after the match both shook their hands to end the feud. After the first successful title defense, the champ is expected to appear on this week’s episode of WWE Raw. With his first title defense, The Ring General will kick start his era officially with no backlogs.
