The 9/16 episode of WWE Raw could involve some big brawls!

WWE is all set to host the September 16, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw live from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, United States.

This is the first episode of Raw, after all the three shows come under the USA Network. WWE has booked some of the interesting matches and segments for the show. Here we take a look at the top five storylines to watch out for on this week’s episode of WWE Raw.

5. Bronson Reed vs Braun Strowman

Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman brawled all the way to the back stage three weeks ago, where Reed delivered a Tsunami on Strowman crashing him on top of the car. Bronson was about to compete on the IC title #1 Contenders tournament, but COVID took him out of action, which made Braun take his spot and enter the finals.

Last week, when Strowman dominated the tournament finals, Bronson Reed came out of nowhere and jumped over Strowman to break the announcement table. Which made Strowman unable to compete for the rest of the match and losing in the finals. Following the assault, both are expected to be on the show to continue their big meat brawl.

4. Bron Breakker vs Jey Uso

Last week on Raw, Jey Uso became the #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship and is all set to face Bron Breakker in the upcoming events. Bron made things personal with Jey when he involved Jey’s family in the storyline, saying no one in Jey’s family bet their family members in the past. They could have a face to face confrontation this week and potentially be involved in a brawl.

3. The Judgment Day vs Terror Twins

The feud between the Judgment Day and the Terror Twins has been heating up week after week. Last week on Raw, the Women’s World Championship match between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley and the singles match between Finn Balor and Damian Priest got confirmed for Bad Blood.

Following that, the Judgment Day used their number games as the advantage to brutally assault Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest. This week the Terror Twins could seek revenge against them. As Balor and McDonagh are defending their tag team titles on the line, the Terror Twins could screw and make them lose their title.

2. Sami Zayn’s challenge to Gunther

At the Bash in Berlin fallout episode of Raw, Sami Zayn made his return to confront Gunther and challenge him for the World Heavyweight Championship match. However Gunther regretted it saying that Sami is not on his level.

Last week, Bret Hart stood in support of Zayn demanding a title shot, which resulted in Gunther and Sami brawling ringside, with Sami dominating the champion until officials separated them. After last week’s brawl, both are set to appear this week on the show. Gunther could address what happened last week and could accept Sami Zayn’s challenge.

1. CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre

CM Punk got brutally assaulted by Drew McIntyre at the Bash in Berlin fall out episode of Raw, with three claymore and breaking his bracelet into pieces. The brutal attack resulted in Punk being carried out in the stretcher for medical attention.

Last week on Raw, Drew claimed that Punk could never make his return again, but Adam Pearce announced a Hell in a Cell match between them, based on the wish of Punk and to end their chaotic rivalry.

After the brutal assault two weeks ago and the match being announced for Bad Blood, Punk is announced to make his return this week on Raw. Punk with nothing to lose attitude, could go after Drew to build the storyline for the potential final match at Bad Blood.
