The road to WWE’s next PLE, Bash in Berlin, will go through one last edition of Monday Night RAW.
WWE Bash in Berlin is the latest edition of the ongoing Premium Live Events produced by WWE under the new regime, led by WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque. The show will occur on Saturday, August 31, at the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany.
The road to Germany will head straight through the go-home edition of RAW next week, which will take place at Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, RI. Here are the top five storylines to look out for on this episode of RAW:
5. Judgment Day Civil War
The new WWE couple Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan got the best of their Bash in Berlin opponents, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest, last week on the red brand, with the help of their Judgment Day members. The terror twins would surely be out for revenge for the beatdown and unleash their fury as a warning shot before things go down in Germany in the mixed tag team match.
4. Wyatt Sicks & American Made
This week on RAW, the WWE Universe would witness the in-ring debut of Uncle Howdy against his arch-nemises, Chad Gable. The Wyatt Sicks have been targeting Gable and his allies, The Creed Brothers, for weeks, and the last RAW before Bash in Berlin could have more implications for the show as the rivalry between both sides grows intense by the week.
3. New Day wedge
The New Day has seen the addition of the dominant Odyssey Jones after his debut on RAW a few weeks ago. While Kofi Kingston was thrilled with the idea, Xavier Woods showed displeasure with the decision. Adding to this, their rivals, The Final Testament, could once again try to drive a wedge in The New Day as they are set to collide in a six-person tag team match on RAW.
2. Punk McIntyre & Strap
The heated rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will see them collide again after WWE SummerSlam at Bash in Berlin, this time in a Strap match. Last week on RAW, Punk made the match official while McIntyre continued to make things personal with him, with the rivalry expected to get more intense on the final RAW before Bash in Berlin.
1. World Title Picture
The World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and his Bash in Berlin opponent, Randy Orton, brawled against each other to end Monday Night RAW last week. This week, the feud is expected to have one last segment before the two behemoths collide against each other in Germany for the World Championship. However, adding Ludwig Kaisar to the mix could be somewhat trouble for The Viper’s quest to capture his 15th World title.
