Storylines are brewing as the second PLE of 2025 approaches

The 02/10 episode of Monday Night Raw will emanate live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. This week’s episode will follow in the footsteps of the two fallout shows from the previous week and will continue building toward the Elimination Chamber 2025 PLE.

Two qualifying matches are set for the show where Rey Mysterio will battle Logan Paul and Bayley will lock horns against Lyra Valkyria. Apart from two matches, AJ Styles is also set for an appearance on the show as he was moved to Monday Night Raw last week following his return at the Royal Rumble 2025 PLE.

As the promotion builds towards the Elimination Chamber PLE, here are the top five storylines that you need to watch out for on this episode of WWE Raw.

5. Jey Uso makes his pick

After winning the men’s Royal Rumble match at the Lucas Oil Stadium on February 1, ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso has been shuffling through his options. Jey was involved in a war of words against the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther in last week’s episode.

Jey also made an appearance on the Friday Night SmackDown show in Memphis last week and caught up with the Undisputed WWE Champion. While he has not yet confirmed which champion is his pick for WrestleMania, Jey will likely announce his pick on this week’s episode after meeting both Gunther and Cody Rhodes last week.

4. New Day targets the Tag Champs

Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston (New Day) faced an unprecedented level of backlash when they turned on their stablemate Big E. However, in recent times it seems like they have grown accustomed to the fact and have happily taken on the role of a heel.

Woods and Kingston have picked up momentum since getting back into action and last week they defeated LWO (Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee) albeit with a little interference from Logan Paul. The win would boost their confidence and they might set their sights on the World Tag Team Champions Erik and Ivar (War Raiders) on the 02/10 show.

3. New challenger for Bron Breakker

The Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker last defended his title against Sheamus at the January 25 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event and then took part in the 30-men Royal Rumble match. While many champions would take a break or at least wait for a challenger to emerge, Breakker operates differently.

On the last week’s episode, Breakker confronted General Manager Adam Pearce and questioned his lack of attention towards the IC title, Bron asked for a meeting to discuss the path forward for the champion. Breakker will likely pick an opponent to defend the title or a new challenger might confront the champion.

The promotion has already teased a clash between him and Penta and we might see the luchador challenger Breakker on this week’s episode.

2. Iyo Sky fires back

Iyo Sky took part in the first qualifying match for the Women’s Elimination Chamber where she took on Liv Morgan. However, before the match, she was attacked by Morgan and when Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley came to her aid, she too was assaulted by Raquel Rodriguez. Hungry for revenge Rhea attacked Raquel during the qualifying match.

Despite her intentions, Ripley ended up costing Sky the match as Morgan won by DQ and qualified for the match on March 1. However, Sky might settle her differences with Ripley and team up to battle Morgan and Raquel on this week’s show to inflict punishment for the attack.

1. Elimination Chamber qualifiers

As mentioned earlier, two qualifying matches are set for the show in the men’s and women’s divisions. A third qualifying match is set for the show as the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria will battle Bayley. The winner will join Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, and Alexa Bliss who have already qualified for the match.

In the men’s division, Rey Mysterio will battle the person who cost him the tag match last week against the New Day, Logan Paul. The winner between them will join John Cena, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre.

Who do you think will qualify in the two announced matches? Can Penta triumph over Bron Breakker if the two stars collide in Memphis? Share your thoughts and predictions in the comments section.
