The 9/30 episode of WWE Raw is the final episode before Bad Blood PLE!
WWE is all set to host the September 30, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw live from the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana, United States. This is the last episode of Monday Night Raw before the 2024 Bad Blood Premium Live Event.
There is a huge anticipation for this week’s show, where the stage is set for the final hype before the big event. WWE also booked some of the interesting matches and segments for the show to make it a big night. Ahead of the show, here we take a look at the top five storylines to watch out for on this week’s Raw.
5. Godzilla vs Kong
After weeks and weeks of brawls, Braun Strowman & Bronson Reed will settle their rivalry in a last-man-standing match this week on Raw. WWE has been promoting the match as the last monster standing match, billing it as WWE’s version of Godzilla vs Kong.
Will the storyline rivalry come to an end this week? Who is the biggest monster in the company? All these make it one of the compelling storylines to watch out for on the red brand.
4. Jey Uso’s first challenger
Jey Uso defeated Bron Breakker to win the Intercontinental Championship last week, shocking the entire WWE Universe. This is Jey’s first ever singles championship win and the Main Eventer is set to make his first appearance with the title this week.
With winning the title, who will be Jey’s first challenger? Will Breakker challenge Jey for a rematch? These are some of the emerging storylines to watch out for.
3. Sami Zayn’s pursuit for a World title match
Sami Zayn has been demanding for a World Heavyweight Championship match against Gunther week after week, however, the ring general has been declining his challenge saying that Sami is not on his level.
Last week on Raw, Sami defeated Ludwig Kaiser and Gunther popped out teasing offering a world title match, however, he played a mockery of Sami.
At this stage, Sami could try his best to get closer to the title this week. What is Sami’s plan this week? Will Sami be able to get his world title match from Gunther? All these make it one of the important storylines to watch out for.
2. Terror Twins vs Judgment Day
Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley will be facing their foes Finn Balor and Liv Morgan of Judgment Day to fulfill their desire to take revenge.
The Terror Twins had the initial win at Bash in Berlin, since then Judgment Day has been dominating the duo. With just days away from their big matches, what will they do on this week’s show to set the final hype for their match, makes it one of the important storylines to watch out for.
1. CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre
CM Punk & Drew McIntyre have been having a long-time rivalry and they are nearing to end of their highly intense storyline at Bad Blood inside the Hell in a Cell. Ahead of the major match, Punk and McIntyre are advertised to come face-to-face this week on Raw.
Whenever Punk and McIntyre are on the same show, both are involved in a brawl. So what will they do this week? Will they be brawling this week? The high stakes and the extreme rivalry make it one of the important storylines to watch out for.
