Top five storylines to watch out for on WWE Raw (October 21, 2024)

The 10/21 Raw could feature some of these intriguing storylines!
The October 21, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw will be aired live from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. The last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW was pre-taped due to WWE‘s UK tour.
WWE has booked a lot of amazing fights and face-offs for this week. Let us now take a look at the five storylines ahead of this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw to look out for.
5. Jey Uso vs Bron Breakker
The current Intercontinental Champion, ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso is scheduled to defend his title against the former IC champion Bron Breakker. This is a rematch from their first encounter in which Jey defeated Breakker by pinfall to bag the IC title.
Breakker is looking for redemption against Uso and he wants to get the IC title back. While Jey wants to continue his first singles career title reign and beat Breakker.
4. Gunther responds to Cody Rhodes
In the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes invited the WWE Heavyweight Champion Gunther to SmackDown for a face-off ahead of their match at Crown Jewel.
Gunther is scheduled to fight Rhodes at Crown Jewel 2024 next month for the inaugural Crown Jewel Championship title. However, it is still unclear if the WWE Heavyweight Champion accepts the invitation or not.
3. Seth Rollins face-off Bronson Reed
Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins will have a face-off on the 10/21 episode of RAW against Bronson Reed. Rollins is looking to exact his revenge against Reed. Rollins was injured after Reed landed six Tsunamis on an episode of Raw on Aug. 5, 2024.
Reed is also looking to settle the score after Rollins cost him the fight in his return against Braun Strowman in the Last Monster Standing Match.
2. WWE World Tag Team Championship Contenders Tournament
There are two matches scheduled in the WWE World Tag Team Championship number one contender’s tournament. The first match was the team of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods (The New Day) vs Akam and Rezar( Authors of Pain).
The second match of the tournament features WWE legend, Rey Mysterio who will team up with Dragon Lee to face American Made (Brutus Creed and Julius Creed). The winner of these two fights would be one step closer to challenging the Tag Team Champions, The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh).
1. Dominik Mysterio vs Jey Uso
‘Dirty Dom’ Dominik Mysterio has recently stated his intentions of challenging the Intercontinental Champion Jey Uso. Dirty Dom is looking to capture his first title after debuting on the main roster.
Dom has expressed his desire to face the IC champion stating, “I would say I have some unfinished business with Jey Uso. There’s something he has that I might want. Not might. There’s something of his that I want.” On the other hand, Jey is scheduled to face Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental title on the next episode of Monday Night Raw.
