Roman Reigns will address Paul Heyman on this week’s WWE Raw!

The June 21 episode of Monday Night Raw will continue the build towards SummerSlam. The show is set to air live from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, USA. While WWE has only announced Reigns’ appearance, a recent report from Cory Hays has revealed multiple matches and segments for the July 21 show.

Roman Reigns will address his former Wiseman, while CM Punk, ahead of his title clash with Gunther, is set to discuss the upcoming clash on this week’s show. Sami Zayn is set to make his return to face Karrion Kross in a highly anticipated rematch, while Rusev will go head-to-head with Sheamus once again in a clash of heavy hitters.

Additionally, The New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) are set to compete in a #1 Contender’s Match against The Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius Creed) and the LWO in a high-stakes triple-threat tag team match. Ahead of this week’s show, here are the top five storylines for the July 21 episode of WWE Raw.

5. Sheamus vows revenge

In their first meeting after a long time last month, Rusev emerged victorious in the clash against Sheamus. However, Sheamus was irked by Rusev using dirty tactics to win the match and spoke with General Manager Adam Pearce for a match.

The two heavy hitters are once again set to battle in a rematch on this week’s show, likely writing another chapter in their long story.

4. Sami Zayn returns

Sami Zayn has been absent from WWE programming for two weeks after being ambushed by Karrion Kross backstage. Kross sent a stern warning on last week’s show via a promo.

Zayn is now set to return to battle Zayn in a rematch this week. It will be interesting to see how the storyline between the two unfolds, especially amid major calls from fans to push Karrion.

3. Women’s Intercontinental title

Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch has a proposal for Lyra Valkyria who is now set to battle the Champion in a rematch after defeating Bayley in a number one contender’s match. While Lyra defeated Lynch at Backlash to retain the title, Lynch pinned Lyra at MITB 2025 to capture the title.

Their third meeting was in a triple-threat match involving Bayley at Evolution, where Lynch once again retained. She is now set to defend against a familiar foe at the upcoming SummerSlam PLE.

2. CM Punk eyes the World title

On last week’s show, ‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk won the gauntlet match to secure the #1 Contenders spot for the World Heavyweight Championship.

He is now set to battle the current Champion, Gunther at the summer’s biggest party, SummerSlam. Ahead of their clash, The Second City Saint is set to discuss the upcoming clash on this week’s show. Punk will likely cut a promo, hyping up the clash as he looks to capture the WWE title after over a decade.

1. The OTC addressing his ‘former’ Wiseman

‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns made his highly anticipated return during the final moments of the show to aid Jey Uso and CM Punk, who were being attacked by Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker.

Reigns is now set to address his former Wiseman, Paul Heyman, who betrayed him to align with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 41 and create the new faction, which included Breakker and Reed. Rollins being out of action and WWE pushing Breakker likely hints at a clash with the OTC for the rising star at SummerSlam.
