A colossal six-woman tag match is announced for tonight’s show!
The 2025 edition of Money in the Bank is just moments away, but first, it’s time for Friday Night SmackDown. The go-home show for WWE SmackDown is set to air live from the Dignity Health Arena in Bakersfield, California.
The promotion has announced multiple matches and segments for the show, including a six-woman tag match. Every MITB ladder match participant is set to appear on the go-home show.
Here are the top five storylines to keep a close eye on during the May 30 edition of WWE SmackDown in Bakersfield tonight.
5. Wyatt Sicks vs Tag team roster
Since their return, two weeks earlier, the Waytt Sicks (Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas), Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross & Joe Gacy) have been terrorizing the entire tag teams on the Blue brand. It would be interesting to see what their next move is, especially since Uncle Howdy in a promo claimed that they will not stop until they get “what’s owed”.

4. Women’s MITB ladder match
Alexa Bliss, Giulia, Roxanne Perez, Rhea Ripley, Naomi, and Stephanie Vaquer have secured spots in the 2025 women’s MITB ladder match and are set to face off tonight ahead of their clash at the Intuit Dome. Additionally, Ripley will team up with Stephanie Vaquer and Alexa Bliss to battle Roxanne Perez, Naomi, and Giulia.
3. Men’s MITB ladder match
Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Seth Rollins, Penta, Andrade, and El Grande Americano are set to battle in the men’s MITB ladder match for the MITB briefcase. The six stars are set for an appearance on tonight’s show, and the encounter has all signs of turning hostile ahead of the PLE.

2. MITB build-up
The go-home show will be used to build towards the PLE, with all the MITB participants set to appear, and the show will build up hype among fans. The promotion might also announce one more match for the show, as only four matches have been announced so far, which is one less than what is generally the case. The promotion will also likely release hype packages for the announced matches.
1. Jey Uso & Cody Rhodes under the same roof as John Cena & Logan Paul
Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso are set to battle Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and Logan Paul in a tag team match at MITB 2025. The four stars will be under one roof tonight and are likely to clash, similar to last week’s show, furthering the storyline ahead of their clash. The tag team clash will also add to the storyline between Rhodes and Cena.
