CM Punk-Roman Reigns face-off; Seth Rollins' return & other storylines to watch on WWE RAW (March 2, 2026)

The fallout show of Raw will emanate from Indianapolis.

Live from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, the March 2 episode of WWE Raw will feature the aftermath of the Elimination Chamber PLE.

As WrestleMania season continues, this week’s Raw carries huge anticipation from fans. A title match, along with a major return and a singles clash between Gunther and Dragon Lee, is announced for the show.

Additionally, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Jey Uso, Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, and LA Knight are listed as featured superstars. Let us now take a look at the top four key storylines that fans need to watch on the March 2 episode of WWE Raw in Indianapolis, Indiana.

4. Intercontinental title match

Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio will defend the title against the number one contender, Penta, in Indianapolis. Penta defeated El Grande Americano during the February 16 episode to secure the title shot. 

This will be Dirty Dom’s first title defense after his return from a shoulder injury during the February 2 show. While a major title change is unlikely before WrestleMania, and in light of multiple title changes, it will still be interesting to see if any major developments take place during the match leading into Mania.

3. Seth Rollins’ return

‘The Visionary’ Seth Rollins made his surprising return during the men’s Elimination Chamber match, taking out Logan Paul with a curb stomp, spoiling his chances for WrestleMania. This marks Rollins’ return after a shoulder injury from Crown Jewel forced him out of action.

Rollins’ return in the absence of Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker has intrigued fans and pundits, and it will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for him, especially since Reed and Breakker are absent from programming in the lead-up to Mania.

2. CM Punk vs Roman Reigns

‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns is scheduled to make his return on the fallout show and is set to confront the reigning World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, following Elimination Chamber, where Punk retained the title over Finn Balor.

Fans are expecting another fiery promo between Punk and Reigns, and things might even get physical between the two. With multiple appearances announced for Roman in the lead-up to WrestleMania, the feud is likely going to turn heads.

1. Elimination Chamber aftermath

The 2026 edition of Elimination Chamber concluded at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Rhea Ripley and Randy Orton won the two Chamber matches, while AJ Lee captured the WWE Women’s IC title, and CM Punk defeated Finn Balor to retain the World Heavyweight title.

The March 2 show will now feature the aftermath from the PLE, addressing the developments and creating new storylines for the ‘Grandest Stage.’
