Royal Rumble fallout; Masked man & other storylines to watch on WWE RAW tonight (February 2, 2026)

Tonight’s Raw will feature the aftermath from Royal Rumble.

After wrapping up the Royal Rumble PLE in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, WWE heads back to the U.S. to continue the Road to WrestleMania as the dust settles and new challengers emerge. Now, the promotion will deliver the fallout show of Monday Night Raw.

The February 2 episode of the Red brand will take place at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer is set to defend the title against Raquel Rodriguez in a Philadelphia Street Fight.

Ahead of this week’s show in Philadelphia, let us take a look at the top four storylines that might be in play on this week’s WWE Raw.

4. Finn Balor’s

Finn Balor showcased his displeasure with the WWE brass after being told by GM Adam Pearce that there is room for him in the men’s Royal Rumble. Balo, who was contemplating turning face after a backstage interaction with CM Punk, who told him to ditch the Judgment Day and win the Rumble to challenge him again.

Irked by it all, Balor attacked Punk during the main event, where the latter defended the World title against AJ Styles. Balor has also been vocal since then as he saw SmackDown stars announce their entry into the match after her was told that there is no room.

Pearce has also called out Finn for his antics on social media, stating that he is not angry but disappointed. Fans will have to tune in tonight to witness the next chapter, especially as the rift in the Judgment Day continues and there are reports of Reigns vs Punk for WrestleMania.

3. Masked man

Bron Breakker entered the 2026 men’s Royal Rumble match with high hopes of winning it with the help of the rest of the Vision stable. Despite him entering the match at number 2, Paul Heyman and the Vision were ready to help him win. However, it all went horribly bad for the Badass as he was ambushed by a masked man during his entrance.

The masked man took him out with a curb stomp before chugging him into the ring as Oba Femi eliminated him with ease. With hopes of winning, Bron was eliminated with a record he wouldn’t be proud of, as Bron only survived ten seconds, earning a spot in the quickest Rumble eliminations. It remains to be seen how Bron reacts to the loss and what strings Heyman pulls to bring the culprit to justice.

2. Philadelphia street fight

Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer is set to defend the title against Raquel Rodriguez in a Philadelphia Street Fight. This will be a rematch of their last meeting in December, which also involved Nikki Bella.

The title match comes in the backdrop of the rift between Rodriguez and her Judgment Day stablemate, Liv Morgan, especially since the latter eliminated Raquel in the women’s Rumble match last week. WWE could use this matchup to build a feud between Liv and Raquel, while giving Vaquer another successful title defense.

1. Royal Rumble fallout

The first PLE of 2026, the Royal Rumble, officially kicked off the Road to WrestleMania 42. The 39th installment took place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of Riyadh Season

Liv Morgan won the women’s, while Roman Reigns bagged the win in the men’s Rumble match. On the other hand, Gunther defeated AJ Styles to retire another legend in the career threatning match. As mentioned, WWE will now deliver the fallout show of Monday Night Raw, and fans can expect the aftermath to spill out to the Red brand.

The return of Brie Bella and the Bella Twins, eliminating Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, can also be used to set up a tag team feud; this can be among many other interesting new feuds teased during the show.
