Cody Rhodes-Drew McIntyre feud; MFTs go after Tag Titles & other storylines to watch on WWE SmackDown tonight (December 19, 2025)

The MFTs will intensify their feud with the Wyatt Sicks.
WWE travels to the Great Lake State tonight to deliver the SNME fallout show of Friday Night SmackDown at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
As noted, the December 19 episode will serve as the fallout show for the December 13 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, where John Cena bid farewell to the WWE Universe. Multiple big names, including Cody Rhodes, Tiffany Stratton, Randy Orton, Jade Cargill, and Jacob Fatu, are being advertised for the show.
Ahead of tonight’s show in Grand Rapids, Michigan, here are the three storylines to watch out for on tonight’s WWE SmackDown.
3. Can Michin step up?

During last week’s show, Michin was attacked by Jade Cargill during her entrance, and the two were set to battle in singles action. Despite the beatdown, Michin tried to fight back moments later with a kendo stick, but failed.
WWE moving ahead with the feud means Michin has no other option but to step up to Cargill and challenge her for a title showdown.

2. The MFTs set their sight on Tag Titles

Last Week, after a promo by Uncle Howdy alongside the Wyatt Sicks, Solo Sikoa, along with the MFTs, appeared via video and announced that next week they were coming for the WWE Tag Team titles and warned that if Howdy wanted to keep his family, he should hand the Tag Team titles over to the MFTs; otherwise, the only thing they could do was run.
Sikoa and his Family Tree will likely make their intentions clear with a massive assault tonight to put the Tag Champion, Joe Gacy, and Dexter Lumis on notice.
1. Cody Rhodes – Drew McIntyre feud
The feud between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre has taken a dark turn since SNME. Drew McIntyre attacked Cody during his match against Oba Femi at last week’s SNME. Rhodes repaid the favor with a home invasion as General Manager Nick Aldis was negotiating with McIntyre for his reinstatement.
The feud is likely to take an even darker turn tonight, and with reports of another title match on the horizon, the stakes are higher than ever.
When and where will the December 19, 2025, episode of WWE SmackDown take place?
This week’s SmackDown will air live from the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
What matches and segments have been announced for the show?
As of now, WWE has not announced any matches or segments for the SNME fallout show.
