Smackdown is ready to host the first night of the Draft 2024. While there are wrestlers who will be present in the draft, some of them should be left where they are good. While choosing the top wrestlers who shouldn’t switch brands in the WWE 2024 Draft can be subjective but based on popularity, storylines, and current momentum, here are five wrestlers who could be best left where they are.

Gunther

Setting Gunther on a trajectory towards a world title program with Damian Priest after Backlash 2024 could indeed be a compelling direction for his character. Gunther’s dominant persona and in-ring ability would make him a formidable challenger for the World Championship, adding intrigue to the title scene on Monday Night Raw.

Meanwhile, having the rest of Imperium, led by the Ring General himself having Kaiser and Dragunov as the members can target the World Tag Team Championship could showcase their collective strength and dominance as a faction. This move not only keeps Imperium relevant and in the spotlight but also adds depth to the tag team division on Raw.

Overall, this direction allows for a natural progression in storylines for both Gunther and Imperium, while also adding excitement and unpredictability to Raw’s championship landscape.

Bron Breakker

Pairing Bron Breakker with Paul Heyman could be a strategic move for WWE to elevate Breakker’s character and storyline on SmackDown. Heyman’s managerial prowess and ability to craft compelling narratives could add depth to Breakker’s persona and help him further establish himself as a dominant force in the WWE.

Additionally, involving Breakker in a storyline with Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga could create intriguing dynamics, especially if Roman Reigns’ absence leaves uncertainty regarding the future of The Bloodline on SmackDown. Breakker’s presence could add a fresh perspective to the ongoing tensions within the faction, potentially leading to new rivalries and alliances.

By aligning Breakker with Heyman and integrating him into the broader storyline involving The Bloodline, WWE can keep fans engaged while providing Breakker with the platform to showcase his talent and continue his momentum on SmackDown.

Jey Uso

‘Until we Yeet again’ were the final words of Cody Rhodes when he left Raw for the Smackdown. While Jey has been doing a great run in Raw, it should be noted that he won his second Undisputed title there itself. Giving him a better storyline, maybe with the new Bloodline would make much more sense as it would be family v/s family again.

Going ahead with a Bloodline Civil War in the Survivor series would gather a lot of engagements and will increase the position of storyline among the fans.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins

Seth Rollins, a cornerstone of Raw, consistently delivers riveting matches and captivating storylines. His star power and leadership make him indispensable to the red brand.

With his eye on the World Championship once more, Rollins brings a mix of skill and charisma that promises to electrify the main event scene. As he sets his sights on reclaiming the title he once held, Rollins’ journey is poised to captivate audiences and elevate Raw to new heights.

Jade Cargill

Jade Cargill’s arrival on WWE SmackDown just before WrestleMania XL marked a significant moment. Despite her limited in-ring experience, her star power and charisma have quickly made her a standout on the blue brand. Teaming up with Naomi and Bianca Belair for a victory at WrestleMania showcased her potential impact.

With rumors of Belair’s potential move to Raw and turning a heel, keeping Jade on SmackDown ensures the stage is set for their inevitable showdown, maintaining excitement and anticipation on Friday nights.

While nobody is sure what Paul Levesque must be cooking, one can understand the importance of Draft here. It is understandable that it could be one of the most important draft in WWE’s history because of some new wrestlers and the ones who are returning.
