Top four superstars who have won both WWE & Universal Championship

The WWE Championship and Universal Championship are two of the prestigious World Championship of WWE. It is a dream for many wrestlers to win any one of the world championships in the company. However some wrestlers held both the titles with ease. Here are four WWE Superstars who won both the WWE Championship and Universal Championship in the company.

Superstars who held WWE & Universal Championship

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns is the first WWE Superstar to win the WWE and Universal Championship. He is also the first one to carry both the titles simultaneously. Reigns is a four time WWE Champion and two time Universal Champion. Reigns won his first WWE Championship at Survivor Series 2015 by defeating Dean Ambrose in the championship tournament finals. He won his first Universal title at SummerSlam 2018 by defeating Brock Lesnar.

At WrestleMania 38, Roman defeated Brock Lesnar in a Winners Takes All match to become the first one to hold both the Universal Championship and WWE Championship simultaneously. He unified the titles and made it the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Roman hold a record for the fourth-longest championship reign for his second Universal title reign, which lasted for 1316 days.

Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is the second wrestler to win both the WWE and Universal Championship. He is a seven time WWE Champion and three time Universal Champion. Lesnar won his first WWE Championship at SummerSlam 2002, by defeating The Rock. With this he became the youngest WWE Champion of the company. He won his first Universal Championship at WrestleMania 33, by defeating Goldberg, and has the second longest reign of the title with 504 days.

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins is the third wrestler to win both the titles. Rollins is a two time WWE Champion and two time Universal Champion. Rollins won his first WWE Championship at WrestleMania 31, by cashing-in his Money in the Bank contract. He was the first one to cash-in a title during a match and was the first one to cash-in at WrestleMania. Rollins won his first Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35 by defeating Brock Lesnar.

Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt was the fourth wrestler to win both the titles. Wyatt was a one time WWE Champion and two time Universal Champion. Bray Wyatt won his first WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber 2017 in the Elimination Chamber match. He won his first Universal Championship at Crown Jewel 2019 as The Fiend.
