The Barcelona show might pack multiple surprises for WWE fans

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown will emanate live from the Olimpic Arena in Barcelona, Spain. The show will feature appearances from multiple top stars including Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, The Miz, Randy Orton, Charlotte Flair and more.

WWE Tag Team Champions DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tomasso Ciampa) are set to defend their title against the Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins), while Charlotte Flair and Randy Orton are set for their in-ring return.

Ahead of tonight’s show in Barcelona, which will kick off the Europe tour on the road to WrestleMania 41 PLE., let’s take a look at the top five surprises that could be in store for WWE fans.

5. Wyatt Sicks’ return

The Wyatt Sicks faction, which consists of Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy & Nikki Cross has been absent from WWE programming after being transferred to the Blue brand from Monday Night Raw. This was reportedly due to an injury to one of the members, which reports suggested was Uncle Howdy.

As per recent reports, Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy) has been cleared to return to in-ring action, and the faction will likely make their presence felt during tonight’s show in Barcelona.

4. Shinsuke Nakamura strikes

On the last week’s show Shinsuke Nakamura defended the United States title against LA Knight, the two stars clashed in the main event where Knight successfully defeated Nakamura to recapture the US title. However, the loss will likely anger the former champion who would want to put some punishment on the new champion, likely attacking him on this week’s show.

3. The brawl continues

On the last week’s show, Solo Sikoa battled Braun Strowman in a singles match, but the match ended in DQ as Tama Tonga interfered and ambushed Strowman, who fired back. However, Jacob Fatu quickly arrived and the brawl broke out between the two where Strowman came on top landing a vicious chokeslam through the table.

However, Fatu refused to stay down and quickly stood up, and he will likely try to get even with Strowman on this week’s episode.

2. Kevin Owens returns

“The Viper” Randy Orton made his return after the unsanctioned match between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at the Elimination Chamber 2025 PLE. Orton retaliated for the attack by Owens in November 2024, which caused him severe injury and forced him out of action.

While Owens did not make an appearance on last week’s show, where Orton was desperately trying to get his hands on him, Owens will likely make his return during Orton’s clash with Carmelo Hayes this week and ambush the Viper when he is busy battling Hayes.

1. Naomi attacks

On the last week’s episode, Bianca Belair pleaded with Naomi as she wanted to get answers from her tag partner. After initial hesitation, Naomi finally accepted that she was the one who attacked Jade Cargill in November.

While Naomi pleaded with Belair, Cargill made her entrance and attacked Naomi, the two stars are going back and forth on social media ahead of this week’s show, and it seems like Naomi is looking for some revenge and she might ambush Cargill on this week’s show.
