The 9/6 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is the Bash in Berlin fall out show!

WWE is all set to host the September 06, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown live from Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alabama, Canada at 8 PM local Canadian time. This is the Bash in Berlin fall out episode of SmackDown and is the final episode to be held on the Fox Network.

This week’s show is expected to fill with the aftermath of Bash in Berlin and there could be huge surprises waiting as it is being the farewell episode in the Fox Network. Ahead of the show, here we take a look at the top five surprises WWE can plan for this week’s SmackDown to spice up things.

5. AJ Styles returns

AJ Styles has been away from WWE TV since his title match loss against Cody Rhodes at Clash at the Castle PLE. Although away from TV, Styles has worked at a number of WWE Live events all around the world. Styles could make his SmackDown return this week on the show.

4. The Bloodline injures Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes could ask Solo Sikoa to stand in the line, saying that he doesn’t deserve a rematch. Which could make The Tribal Chief angry and send the Bloodline to destroy him. The Bloodline could attack Cody as an act of frustration and could injure Rhodes, as the champ is already suffering a bad knee on the road to Bash in Berlin.

3. Cody Rhodes offers title shot to Randy Orton

After an unsuccessful world title challenge against Gunther at Bash in Berlin, Randy Orton will make his SmackDown return this week. Cody might decline Solo’s challenge and could give the title shot to Randy Orton, similar to how he gave a title shot to Kevin Owens at Bash in Berlin. As Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes has been rumored for months, there is no better way to book the match between the two.

2. Roman Reigns could return

Roman Reigns was originally set to return next week on SmackDown in the Season Premiere but was removed from the advertising. WWE could surprise the fans by making Roman return to SmackDown in the final episode of SmackDown on Fox. As Solo laid his challenge to Cody for a title rematch, Roman could stop him right away by attacking Solo, teaming up with Cody Rhodes.

1. Kevin Owens could turn heel

At SummerSlam, Kevin Owens hesitated to attack injured Cody Rhodes although he was close to dethroning the champ. This resulted in Cody taking it as an advantage to retain the title. After the loss Owens hesitated to give a handshake from Cody, but then hugged him and both walked backstage.

Although both teased about continuing their friendship, Owens was not normal after the match. This could result in Owens turning heel by attacking Cody this week in the greed for the championship, as Owens didn’t hold a world title in the last eight years.
