WWE has seen many tall female wrestlers

Professional Wrestling as a concept has always been about larger-than-life personas, and height often has been one of those standards. Historically, WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) has always favored towering figures, using their intimidating stature to enhance their on-screen personas.

The Great Khali, for example, was recruited primarily due to his immense height, despite being a limited in-ring performer. Commentators also regularly describe Big Show and Kane as seven-foot “monsters,” enhancing their aura by referencing the fact they stand so high above everyone else.

However, when it comes to female performers in WWE, height has not been as heavily emphasized. This leaves many WWE fans curious about who the tallest women to grace the WWE ring are.

So, let’s take a look at the list of the top 10 tallest female wrestlers in WWE history.

10. Chyna (Height: 5’10”)

The “Ninth Wonder of the World,” Chyna debuted in 1997. Standing at 5’10”, she broke barriers and paved the way for women like Rhea Ripley in WWE today.

Chyna, known and famous for her impressive physique, was a two-time Intercontinental Champion and one-time Women’s Champion. She made a significant impact during her tenure before leaving the wrestling business in 2001.

9. Tori (Height: 5’10”)

Tori, real name Terri Poch, who stood at a height of 5’11” made her WWE debut in 1998. While she may have only competed for WWE during a small part of her 10-year career, Tori achieved infamy due to her dedication and memorable feuds, such as becoming Kane’s on-screen girlfriend or aligning with D-Generation X.

Though she departed from the company in 2001, even today when one thinks back on the Attitude Era among other past periods, they surely remember this woman who made an impact at that time so long ago!

8. Jade Cargill (Height: 5’10”)

One who has lived up to her presence and size at 5’10” is Jade Cargill. She may be a 2020 debutante, but despite her recent arrival in the ring, this impressive woman has quickly put herself in strong form as the longest-reigning AEW TBS Champion.

Having joined WWE in 2023, she remains a key part of their current roster, competing in high-profile matches, thereby solidifying her status as an entity on par with the greats who have come before and those who still lie ahead for greater achievements.

7. Stacy Keibler (Height: 5’11”)

Standing at 5’11”, Stacy Keibler made her WWE debut in 2001 after a successful stint in WCW. Stacy, with her sturdy legs and bubbly personality, was instantly a fan favorite. Although she never captured a championship in WWE, her contributions to the industry are memorable, especially her involvement in storylines with the Dudley Boyz and Test.

6. Lash Legend (Height: 6’0″)

Lash Legend, standing at 6’0″, is one of the newer additions to the WWE roster, debuting at NXT in 2021. She has already created a buzz with her athletic talents and outgoing personality. Legend, who is a part of the Meta-Four faction, got her opportunity to take on Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship in February 2024. Unfortunately, she failed to win the title. But as an active competitor, Lash continues to develop her skills and looks to carve out a significant place for herself in WWE’s women’s division.

5. Linda Miles (Height: 6’0″)

Also standing at 6’0″, Tough Enough winner Linda Miles made her WWE debut in 2002. With a background in athletics, Linda was best known for winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship before leaving the company in 2004. She did not play long in her prime, but she displayed enough for us to infer what might have been.

4. Kharma (Height: 6’0″)

Standing 6’0″ tall, Kharma made an impressive debut in WWE in 2011. However, her stint at the company was relatively short owing to some personal reasons, but even then, she did manage to leave an indelible mark on the fans with her intimidating presence and in-ring prowess.

Though she did wrestle for WWE briefly, Kharma had far more success in TNA Wrestling, both before and after her time in WWE. She was a two-time TNA Knockouts Champion while performing under the ring name Awesome Kong.

3. Nia Jax (Height: 6’0″)

Nia Jax, at 6’0″, debuted in WWE in 2016 and quickly established herself as a powerhouse in the women’s division. She has won the RAW Women’s Championship and the Women’s Tag Team Championship, showcasing her strength and dominance.

Ever since returning to the company after being released in 2021, she has been on a roll, having won the Queen of the Ring and now looking to challenge Bayley for the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.

Her in-ring work and mic work have also improved significantly after her return, making her one of the most well-rounded female performers in WWE currently. Nia remains an active member of the WWE roster, continuing to make her mark.

2. Raquel Rodriguez (Height: 6’1″)

Raquel Rodriguez, standing at 6’1″, has been with WWE since making her debut in 2020. A former NXT Women’s Champion and three-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, Raquel is known for her power and imposing stature.

Raquel Rodriguez is currently inactive as she is suffering from Mast-Cell Activation Syndrome; however, her towering presence and strong in-ring abilities make her more than capable of getting her hands on the WWE Women’s Championship or the Women’s World Championship once she makes her comeback to the ring.

1. Nicole Bass (Height: 6’2″)

The tallest female wrestler to grace the WWE ranks is Nicole Bass at 6’2″. Bass made her WWE debut in 1999 and is most recognized for her part as Sable’s bodyguard at WrestleMania 15. Although she did not wrestle for a long time, Bass made quite an impact with her massive stature and background as a professional bodybuilder. Sadly, Nicole Bass died in 2017 from a heart condition, but her legacy as one of the tallest women to ever step foot in a WWE ring remains.

The WWE women’s division has enjoyed an extraordinary depth of talent, with some of the tallest female competitors in the company’s history showcasing their athleticism and physical dominance. Whether through Chyna’s historical success or Jade Cargill gaining momentum in that regard now, these giant-sized athletes still demonstrate that height is not a limitation, but rather an asset that can be utilized to their advantage in the squared circle.

As the women’s division works towards a more versatile future, it will be intriguing to watch whether or not that lines up with more tall female stars coming through the ranks soon and changing the perceptions of the sport for the better.
