The Great Khali interested in part time return to WWE

The Great Khali, the first Indian-born World Heavyweight Champion in history and a WWE legend, last appeared at the 2018 Greatest Royal Rumble match. He entered at number 45 but lasted less than a minute before being eliminated by Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley.
This was his last match in the Stamford-based promotion as of now, Khali was inducted into the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame in 2021. While Indian fans eagerly await his return to the squared ring, Khali recently shed some light on his potential WWE return in a recent interview.
During a recent conversation with Rewind Recap Relive, Khali discussed his illustrious career in the Stamford-based promotion. During the interview, he was asked about a potential return to the squared ring, commenting on his return Khali said that he doesn’t believe he will go back anytime soon, as he is busy with his business endeavors.
Khali also said that he is not interested in a full-time return rather he would like to visit, he also teased the possibility of a Royal Rumble appearance but clarified that he has not intentions of making a permanent return.
“I don’t think so, going back to WWE. I’m doing so many things. CW, I have a restaurant business. I have lots of commercials. So many events in India. I’m busy all the time. I don’t want to come back to WWE. I want to come and just say, ‘Hello. Hi.’ Check in a little bit. Royal Rumble. Not permanently. Permanently? No. I’m doing so many things,” Khali said.
The Great Khali has stayed busy with his own promotion, Continental Wrestling Entertainment (CWE)
The Great Khali has remained a sensation in India since he departed from WWE in 2014 after a great time with the promotion. In Punjab, the Giant established Continental Wrestling Entertainment, his wrestling school.
CWE has become India’s largest professional wrestling promotion with over 4.38 million YouTube subscribers and 1.31 billion video views. Furthermore, WWE has signed wrestlers who began their careers with CWE, including Dilsher Shanky and Kavita Devi.
