The Miz to go through a character change very soon: WWE Backstage rumors
The Miz has been in WWE for almost two decades and has been doing a great job as a heel for so long. He is one the few wrestlers to hold multiple championships and is the first person to become the two time Grand Slam Champion. He shared the ring with some of the all time greats and also main evented and hosted the grandest event of the wrestling industry, WrestleMania. He is one of the most successful wrestlers with monumental achievements as a heel, with a Hall of Fame-deserving career.
Whether talking dirt with dirt sheet, cocky in attitude, grating the audience, bullying rookies, mocking top stars, cowardice, escaping using Maryse, influencing people, turning the back and what not, The Miz does whatever it takes to be the great heel. However it is now reported that he could possibly go through a character change very soon.
The Miz as a Babyface?
WWE Insider BWE reported on X that WWE is currently looking to change the character of Miz and make him the babyface. It is also reported that Miz will be working in association with Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano's Team #DIY.
BWE on X (fka twitter) wrote,
“Few ideas discussed over a potential Miz face turn working with DIY. Not confirmed yet though.”
The Miz has turned face only once in WWE during late 2012, but the character was criticized for not being a full heel, as he still continued to mock the WWE Universe, showed cocky attitude, and disrespected the audience by cutting them off. However following that, The Miz again turned heel and started dominating as a heel wrestler.
As per reports the face turn of The Miz is not yet confirmed, but however this could finally be time to see the "A-lister" turning heel and work with #DIY. How excited are you to see The Miz as a proper babyface for the very first time?
