Backstage report on The Rock’s schedule after WWE WrestleMania 40

The Rock made his return at WWE at Raw Day 1 and has been showing up often on the Friday Night SmackDown. Rock was initially planned to face Roman Reigns, however Cody’s decision made a plot twist, as The Great One turned heel by slapping Cody on the face and joined The Bloodline.
Rock is currently in a feud with Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins and will be facing them in a Tag Team match teaming up with Roman Reigns on WrestleMania Night 1, which decides the stipulation for Cody vs Roman match on Night 2.
The Rock has been consistent with his appearances on the shows and has been bringing sold out events on the row. With WrestleMania just weeks away, The Rock’s schedule after WrestleMania has been revealed from a backstage report.
The Rock’s schedule after WrestleMania 40
PWInsider reported that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be out of action from WWE television for the next months after WrestleMania 40 from May 1, 2024 to August 1, 2024. Dwayne will be engaged in his next feature film project- The Smashing Machine: The Life and Time of Mark Kerr.
The Rock will be playing the role of Kerr in the film. The shoot was previously scheduled for November 2019, but the COVID-19 pandemic postponed the schedule. The movie will be filmed in a number of International venues & that has become a reason for Rock’s WWE absence.
As the backstage rumors of Rock appearing for the Saudi Arabia show are said to be in discussion, PWInsider states that The People’s Champ will not be a part of the show in May 2024. However, he could possibly be wrestling in the latter show, as two events are scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia this year.
However there isn’t any official information on The Rock’s appearance for the Saudi Arabia show or post-WrestleMania WWE television schedule so far.
