The Phenomenal One made his return during the men’s Royal Rumble match
After a three-month hiatus due to a Lisfranc injury, ‘The Phenomenal One’ AJ Styles made his return during the men’s Royal Rumble match which was the main event of the first PLE of 2025. Styles entered the match at the Lucas Oil Stadium on February 1 at number 21.
The Phenomenal One scored one elimination in the match as he eliminated LA Knight before himself being eliminated by Logan Paul. Following the match in the fallout show of Monday Night Raw, General Manager Adam Pearce revealed that Styles is moving to the Red brand upon his return and will make an appearance on the 02/10 show of Raw in Nashville.
Ahead of his appearance on the Red brand’s show in Nashville, let us take a look at the top three things that he can do upon his arrival.
3. Challenge Bron Breakker
The Phenomenal One has already lost a lot of time due to injury last year and his plans this year will likely be to restart his journey back towards the top of the food chain. Failing to win the Rumble match, Styles looks late for the party of World title contention.
However, Style upon his arrival can shift his attention to regaining the Intercontinental Title which is currently held by Bron Breakker. Styles can challenge the champion upon his arrival on Monday Night Raw in order to become a two-time IC Champion.

2. Confront Logan Paul
Since his return on February 1, many fans have started speculating and discussing dream matchups and feuds for AJ Styles. One such feud is with the former United States Champion and one of the most polarizing figures Logan Paul.
Paul was also the one who eliminated Styles in the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match and Styles could confront him leading to a heated interaction between them. A feud between the two stars be a treat for WWE fans.
1. Partake in the qualifying matches
While the Elimination Chamber Qualifying matches are already underway with multiple stars winning their respective matches to punch their ticket for the second PLE next month, Styles could ask General Manager Adam Pearce to put him in one of those matches.
This would give me another chance after the Royal Rumble and would be a shortcut towards the World title. Styles has never captured the World Heavyweight title in his WWE career and a win in the qualifying match would move him one step closer towards that goal.
