Bret Hart will be in attendance for the upcoming RAW episode.
WWE recently broke the news via backstage correspondent Jackie Redmond that Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart would be in attendance for next week’s Monday Night RAW, taking place in his hometown of Calgary, Canada.
With The Hitman set to grace the WWE television programming with his presence, here are the top five things Bret Hart could do after his return on RAW next week:
5. Involved in CM Punk Drew McIntyre feud
CM Punk has cited Bret Hart as one of his biggest inspirations for becoming a professional wrestler. With Hart coming back to RAW next week, this could see him become a part of Punk’s feud with Drew McIntyre, with the Scottish Warrior attacking Bret Hart to agitate Punk further and making the rivalry more personal than it already is.
4. Special Guest Referee for a match on RAW
On multiple occasions, WWE has seen giving legends non-wrestling roles in their appearances. This could see Bret Hart become a part of a high-profile match as the Special Guest Referee. Moreover, this could also see Hart also land one or two punches on a heel superstar to show the fans that he still has some left in his tank.
3. Side with Sami Zayn in his feud with Gunther
Bret Hart has always been a huge supporter of fellow Canadian Sami Zayn. In fact, in 2015, Hart was the one to introduce Zayn for his title match against the 16-time World Champion, John Cena. A similar instance can be created on RAW next week, as Bret would once again side with Sami in his emerging feud with Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship to give him more credibility in this high-profile rivalry.
2. Endorse an upcoming RAW star
WWE has always seen multiple legends give a huge rub to upcoming superstars of the current rosters during their appearances on television programming. Bret Hart could use his appearance and starpower to give a rub to an emerging RAW star like Jey Uso, who could possibly win the WWE Intercontinental title No.1 contender tournament with the finals taking place on RAW next week.
1. Bring back Natalya with a tag partner
It has been months since WWE saw Natalya, who, according to reports, has signed a new contract with WWE. Bret Hart’s upcoming RAW appearance could also see him bring Natalya back to RAW, possibly with a new tag team partner for The Queen of Harts, to start a fresh tenure in WWE after signing an extension with them.
