CM Punk’s return to the 9/16 episode of WWE Raw carries huge anticipation!
CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have been having a long-time rivalry and have been tearing each other apart, making it too personal between them. They had their first match at SummerSlam, where Drew won, but Punk called for a rematch and took revenge at Bash in Berlin.
As both had a win against each other, Punk tried to move on, but Drew with the brutal assault on the 9/9 episode of Raw took Punk out of the following week’s Raw.
Last week, Adam Pearce announced the third match between CM Punk & Drew McIntyre at Bad Blood with the Hell in a Cell stipulation.
As the match is being set for Bad Blood, Punk is announced to make his return this Monday (September 16, 2024) on Raw. Ahead of his return, here we take a look at the top three things CM Punk could do on this week’s Raw.
3. Add Stipulations
Both Punk and Drew McIntyre have made the rivalry so intense that most believe that they might never end their feud. It affects both their championship pursuits and has been a major problem to the Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. To settle things between them, they must be separated. To make this happen, Punk could add stipulations for their Hell in a Cell match, saying that the loser should leave the Raw brand. This could settle things between them for a brief period until they come under the same brand in future drafts.

2. Injure Drew McIntyre
Drew broke the bracelet into pieces and brutally attacked Punk two weeks ago, which resulted in Punk being carried out to the medical facility on a stretcher. As Punk couldn’t resist the damage made to him and the bracelet, he could most probably try to kill McIntyre this week, resulting in injuring Drew and sending him to the hospital. Since this is being teased as the end chapter between the two, they are expected to take the rivalry to the peak and there is no better way than this.
1. CM Punk & Drew McIntyre brawl
As Drew McIntyre took Punk out after a brutal attack, the second city saint will come for revenge. Punk could call out Drew to face him face to face like a man and kick-start a big brawl, ahead of the Hell in a Cell match. Punk could look for revenge and eventually try to show McIntyre what Hell looks like, before entering the cage, until the securities separate them.
