Top three things Logan Paul could do on his WWE RAW return tonight (January 27, 2025)

Former United States Champion Logan Paul has been absent from in-ring return since his last match against LA Knight at SummerSlam 2024 PLE where he lost the title. Despite announcing his retirement, Paul made his return on the Raw Netflix kick-off event.

During his appearance, General Manager Adam Pearce announced him as the new addition to the Red brand’s roster. While Paul was in the arena during the historic debut episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix, he didn’t make his in-ring return.

The Maverick is now set for his in-ring return tonight at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Let us now take a look at three things that he could do in his return.

3. Compete for a mid-card title

The Maverick already had a WWE mid-card title run as the United States Champion, Paul’s reign lasted a total of 273 days with two successful title defenses. While he is not on the SmackDown brand anymore, Paul in his return can kick start his ascend towards the Intercontinental title.

Bron Breakker currently holds the Intercontinental title and has recently defended it against Sheamus on the January 25 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. Paul in his return can challenge Breakker for the title kick-starting a feud between the two which would benefit both stars.

2. Challenge Gunther

During his appearance on the Raw Netflix kick-off event, The Maverick stated that he wanted to fight the current World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. Responding to the callout, the World Heavyweight Champion responded with a stern warning.

There we also talk of a possible WrestleMania clash between Gunther and Paul, in his return the Maverick will likely call out the champion setting up a title clash between the two.

1. Announce his entry into the 2025 Royal Rumble match

While Paul has stated his intentions to compete for the title against the Ring General, Gunther might just turn down the challenge and refuse to grant a shot to the returning star. If this happens there is a golden opportunity for the former US Champion this Saturday.

Paul can announce his entry to the Royal Rumble match which is set for February 1 at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. This way he can not only earn a match against the champion at WrestleMania but could also showcase that he is a deserving candidate for the prestigious title.
