Malakai Black looks set to rejoins WWE

Malakai Black’s contract with AEW appears to be over. According to recent sources, The Dutch Destroyer has left the Tony Khan-led organization, and it is unlikely that he would return to All Elite Wrestling.

If Black decides to leave AEW, he will most likely go to WWE. The Striking Man from Amsterdam would most certainly be happy to work under Triple H, who has already done an excellent job scheduling the 39-year-old star in NXT.

With WWE’s Road to WrestleMania ready to begin, the former NXT Champion may not have picked a better moment to return to the Stamford-based business. In this piece, we’ll look about five things Malakai Black may do at WrestleMania 41 if he departs AEW.

5. Reunite with Zelina Vega

WWE may reintroduce Malakai Black at WrestleMania 41 in an exciting fashion. In the coming weeks, Zelina Vega may rekindle her feud with Liv Morgan, who lost her Women’s World Championship to Rhea Ripley on WWE RAW’s Netflix premiere.

The rivalry between the two superstars might culminate to a mixed-tag team match at WrestleMania. While Liv Morgan will have Dominik Mysterio on her side, Vega may hesitate to disclose her ally until the night of the Showcase of the Immortals.

Malakai Black may emerge from the shadows to reunite with Zelina Vega at WrestleMania 41. It will be a touching moment for the real-life pair, who have never worked together in WWE before.

Morgan and Mysterio would be understandably terrified by the presence of Black. He is one of the most dangerous attackers in the professional wrestling world.

4. Malakai Black X Wyatt Sicks

Malakai Black might wow the world by announcing himself as the sixth member of the Wyatt Sicks at WrestleMania. At the Show of Shows, the Dutch Destroyer might assist the unknown group in avenging their past loss against the Final Testament.

After leading ‘The House of Black’ in AEW, Black would fit right in with a paranormal faction like the Wyatt Sicks.

The Wyatt Sicks are one of the most intriguing factions on WWE’s current roster. Uncle Howdy heads the gang, which includes Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, and Joe Gacy. The terrifying stable has been feuding with The Miz and Final Testament.

The two factions recently faced off on the December 9 edition of WWE RAW, with the Karrion Kross-led squad emerging triumphant. The animosity between the two organizations is expected to continue for some years, maybe ending in a match at WrestleMania 41.

3. A feud with Finn Balor

If Malakai Black returns before WrestleMania 41, he might face an interesting opponent in Finn Balor. The Prince lost against Damian Priest in a Street Fight on WWE RAW, which ended their long-running animosity.

After his quarrel with ‘The Archer of Infamy’, Balor could turn his attention to the Striking Man from Amsterdam. The rivalry might start at Royal Rumble 2025, when a returning Malakai Black could defeat the former WWE Universal Champion.

Finn Balor would be irritated by Black’s denial of his desire to headline the Showcase of the Immortals. The incident might spark a heated rivalry that could climax at the Show of Shows.

The present leader of The Judgment Day would be forced to return to his Demon identity in order to face the threat posed by the Dutch Destroyer. A contest between the ‘Demon’ Finn Balor and Malakai Black seems like a thrilling prospect, and it may be the best of both nights at WrestleMania 41.

2. Goes after US Title

Shinsuke Nakamura defeated LA Knight at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 to win the WWE United States Championship. The King of Strong Style has been billed as an untouchable force in recent months, with supporters ecstatic about his unexpected career resurrection.

If Nakamura successfully defends his championship against The Defiant One in the future SmackDown program, a formidable challenger may emerge to put him on notice. In the next weeks, Malakai Black might return to WWE and immediately challenge Nakamura for the United States Championship.

The two former NXT Champions might argue for weeks before facing off at WrestleMania 41. At the Showcase of the Immortals, Black might halt The Artist’s dominant reign and win his first singles championship on the main roster.

Shinsuke Nakamura, who had held the United States Title for nearly six months, would be unaffected by losing his belt to Black. Meanwhile, it would be an unforgettable occasion for The Dutch Destroyer, who had battled to establish himself in WWE under Vince McMahon’s leadership.

1. Reigniting old feud with Seth Rollins

Malakai Black’s feud with Seth Rollins was one of the highlights of his debut on WWE’s main roster. Unfortunately, Black had no response for Rollins’ ‘Messiah’ avatar at the moment.

After losing to his arch-nemesis CM Punk on RAW’s Netflix premiere, The Visionary finds himself in a difficult situation. The Best in the World is expected to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41, leaving Rollins without a strong opponent for the Showcase of the Immortals.

Black may resolve this issue by focusing his attention on The Architect in the weeks running up to the Show of Shows. This time, the positions will be flipped, with Black serving as the powerful heel that Seth Rollins must overcome as a babyface.

The Revolutionary’s in-ring combat style would complement Black’s, and the two may provide a memorable classic at WWE’s largest pay-per-view of the year. If the 39-year-old legend defeats Seth Rollins at WrestleMania, it will be the pinnacle of his WWE career.
