Solo Sikoa ambushed Cody Rhodes on his return last week
After suffering a devastating loss in the Raw Netflix debut against ‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa made his return on the January 17 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. However, he left without uttering a word as the crowd continued booing.
After weeks of absence, Sikoa made his return to the last week’s episode and ambushed the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Solo not only shocked everyone with his return but also for the first time in weeks showed the ruthlessness and aggression he is known for.
Let us now take a look at the top three things Sikoa can do on tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown following his return.
3. Re-establish his dominance
The loss at the hand of Roman Reigns which also forced him to relinquish the Ula Fala has tarnished Solo’s dominance. However, for a merciless leader re-establishing his dominance is not a problem and Sikoa can achieve this feat in no time with his enforcer Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga on his side he can easily reclaim the glory he lost on January 6.

2. Kick off his singles run
Another path for Solo Sikoa on tonight’s episode is to start his singles run and prove his worth as a singles contender in the stacked roster of the Blue brand. Solo can do this by either challenging a top star such as LA Knight.
Solo also has the option to go for the United States title which is currently being held by Shinsuke Nakamura. Despite his sheer dominance, Sikoa has not been very successful in terms of titles and has only captured the NXT North American Champion for a short period of time, and winning the US title will only add to his glory solidifying his singles run.
1. Demand a title shot against Cody Rhodes
Sikoa ambushing the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes might be a sign about his next step which might be to directly aim for the World title. As mentioned above Sikoa has not been very successful in terms of titles in the WWE and if he is looking to start his singles run this might be a good option for him.
Solo could demand a title shot against Rhodes at the upcoming PLE, this would give him a fighting chance to directly become the face of the Blue brand and rebuild his image shattered by the loss against Reigns. This would also give him a chance to settle the score with Rhodes who handed him a loss in September 2024 in a steel cage match where the Undisputed WWE title was on the line.
