Top three things that may happen if The Rock returns on WWE SmackDown

The Rock has been on hiatus for over five months since WrestleMania 40 weekend!

The Rock went on a long hiatus after WrestleMania 40 for his Hollywood projects, however teased that he would return sooner. As both The Rock and Roman Reigns went on hiatus for months and that caused a huge change in the Bloodline. As Roman made his return, the entire WWE universe has been wondering when will The Final Boss make his return.

At this stage, The Rock’s project shooting got wrapped up and his dates are seemingly free, suggesting that he might return soon. As SmackDown goes back to the USA Network, WWE fans wanted the Rock by this Friday at the SmackDown season premiere. As Rock’s return is being rumored for SmackDown, here are three things that may happen on the show.

3. Handle unfinished business with Cody Rhodes

The Rock on his last appearance at Raw after WrestleMania warned Cody Rhodes saying that he is not finished with him. Rock said that he will go for now, but he will be coming for Cody Rhodes. The Final Boss also had the Undisputed WWE Championship on his shoulders and teased that the feud could be for the title. If Rock returns on SmackDown, he could possibly confront Cody Rhodes or could try to sabotage his title match against Solo Sikoa. Rock confronting Rhodes will kick-off the second chapter between Rocky & Cody.

2. Make Roman Reigns Tribal Chief again

The Rock might not be a fan of how Solo Sikoa used his and Roman’s hiatus to steal the Ula Fala and claim himself the Tribal Chief. As a result, The Rock could work with Roman Reigns again to remove Solo from the Tribal Chief throne and make Roman the tribal chief again. Although both are rumored to have a match at WrestleMania 41, they could temporarily work on good terms and WWE could build their story in the upcoming events.

1. Sets seeds for The Bloodline Civil War

There is a huge rumor that Roman Reigns will screw Solo Sikoa and help Cody Rhodes retain the Undisputed WWE Championship. However, The Rock could make his return after the match to confront Roman for helping Cody, with whom Rock has unfinished business with.

Roman’s action could result in Rock turning on him and aligning with Solo Sikoa and later announce that he is the real Tribal Chief, who gave Solo the control until he returns. This could set a huge foundation for the potential Bloodline WarGames between the Team Rock & Team Roman Reigns.
