Top three things to watch out for on WWE Raw (September 09, 2024)
The 9/9 episode of WWE Raw ‘Season Premiere’ special show!
WWE is all set to host the September 09, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw live from the Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This is the season premiere special edition of Raw and there is a lot of anticipation on the show.
WWE also booked some of the interesting matches and segments for this week’s episode of Raw including Intercontinental Championship #1 Contenders tournament finals and the appearance of a WWE Hall of Famer. Ahead of this week’s show, here we take a look at the top three things to watch out for on this week’s episode of WWE Raw.
3. A title change
Last week on Raw, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn of The Unholy Union defeated Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane of Damage CTRL to become the #1 Contenders for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
With that win, they will challenge Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill for the tag team titles this week on Raw. With the title on the line, The Unholy Union could continue their success path by dethroning Belair and Cargill to regain the title. Will the title change hands? Is the one to watch out for.
2. #1 Contender’s tournament finals
After qualifying in the Intercontinental Championship #1 Contenders tournament, Jey Uso, Pete Dunne, Braun Strowman and Ilja Dragunov will be squaring off in a fatal 4-way match in the tournament finals this week.
There is already a heated storyline going on between Jey Uso and the champion Breakker, and Ilja has unfinished business with the champ.
On the other hand, Braun Strowman and Pete Dunne are in desperate need to prove themselves. Who will become the #1 Contender for the Intercontinental title? Is the one to watch out for.
1. Sami Zayn’s challenge to Gunther
Last week on Raw, Sami Zayn made his return and confronted ‘The Ring General’ Gunther, challenging him for the World Heavyweight Championship.
However, Gunther declined the challenge saying that Sami is not ready for the title. Although being declined, Sami said that he would get his title shot, no matter what.
How will Sami get his world title shot against Gunther? Will Gunther accept Sami’s challenge? These are the ones to watch out for.
