Top three things to watch out for on WWE SmackDown (June 14, 2024)

This week’s SmackDown is the Go-Home Show for Clash at the Castle 2024.

The June 14, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will be aired live from OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. This is the final episode of SmackDown before Clash at the Castle 2024 PLE and the first SmackDown to be held in Scotland.

Since being an international edition and a day prior to the PLE, the show carries huge anticipation. With just hours from the show, here are the top three things to watch out for.

New match could be added to Clash at the Castle 2024

WWE has booked a total of five-matches for the Clash at the Castle 2024 PLE, however a sixth match could be booked this week on SmackDown. Grayson Waller Effect is announced for this week, where #DIY will be the Special Guest. The talk show segment that could potentially result in a WWE Tag Team Championship match between A-Town-Down Under & #DIY at Clash at the Castle is the one to watchout for.

New Bloodline member could debut

The Bloodline under Solo Sikoa has been bringing a number of Anoa’i wrestlers to The Bloodline, time after time. They could potentially bring a new Bloodline member this week on SmackDown in Glasgow. Earlier this week, WWE filed a trademark to Talla Tonga, which is reported to be the name of former NJPW star Hikuleo. He could potentially debut this week, during the match between Solo Sikoa & Kevin Owens. Will Talla Tonga debut this week is the one to watchout for.

AJ Styles & Cody Rhodes could brawl

Cody Rhodes will be facing AJ Styles in an I Quit Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Clash at the Castle. Ahead of the show, they are booked for this week’s SmackDown for a segment. Cody & AJ could potentially have a face-off before their match and could likely end in a brawl, to set the huge hype for the next day’s PLE. Will they involve in anything physical, is the one to watch out for.

• Naomi will face Chelsea Green in a singles match with Piper Niven on Green’s corner.
• Kevin Owens will look for redemption against Solo Sikoa in a singles match.

• Cody Rhodes & AJ Styles will have a face-off before Clash at the Castle 2024.
