The Blue brand might brew some interesting storylines.

WWE SmackDown presently has several intriguing storylines. The Bloodline looks to be in chaos, as a previous champion is vying for another championship opportunity.

WWE King and Queen of the Ring took place this past weekend, where SmackDown star Nia Jax winning the Queen of the Ring crown. A 31-year-old star still has issues with the veteran and may seek vengeance this Friday.

Here are five possible scenarios for this week’s WWE SmackDown episode.

5. Bayley might take place on Piper Niven in a steel cage match

On Monday night, RAW general manager Adam Pearce announced a Steel Cage match for the Women’s World Championship on the red brand. Liv Morgan beat Becky Lynch in the bout when Dominik Mysterio intervened. Bayley responded to Pearce’s statement by requesting a Steel Cage match with Piper Niven on SmackDown. Nick Aldis might headline this Friday’s show with a Steel cage fight for the WWE Women’s Championship in the main event.

4. AJ Styles might want an answer from SmackDown GM Nick Aldis

After losing against Cody Rhodes at Backlash in France earlier this month the veteran addressed SmackDown GM Nick Aldis last week, requesting another championship shot. Aldis answered by claiming he had to earn it and that he couldn’t aid AJ any longer. Styles mentioned that he doesn’t have time and may take matters into his own hands on Friday night.

AJ Styles might challenge Logan Paul, the United States Champion. The Maverick has proved to be a natural in the ring, and Styles may assist him advance by facing Paul at SummerSlam 2024 in Cleveland, his hometown.

3. Carmelo Hayes might try to end his beef with LA Knight

Carmelo Hayes had a lot of success in NXT, but it has not transferred to the main roster thus far. However, he may challenge a popular celebrity this week to get back on track. Hayes and LA Knight have exchanged words backstage on SmackDown, and their feud might escalate this week. The former NXT Champion might steal a victory from Knight, sparking a prolonged feud in the coming weeks.

2. Jade Cargill could take on Nia Jax

Women’s Tag Team Champion Jade Cargill might seek vengeance on Nia Jax. Cargill was eliminated by the Irresistible Force during the Queen of the Ring tournament after being disqualified. Cargill’s kid was in the front row for the SmackDown program on May 17, and Jax got in her face. The former TBS Champion replied by hitting the veteran with a chair, and he was disqualified from the Queen of the Ring event.

Nia Jax won the Queen of the Ring competition after defeating Lyra Valkyria during the premium live event on Saturday. Cargill has already stated that Jax’s “days are numbered” and that she will extract her retribution on the veteran coming Friday night on SmackDown.

1. Roman Reigns could finally speak to Paul Heyman

After Roman Reigns was dethroned as the Undisputed WWE Champion, Solo Sikoa took over The Bloodline. He has made several modifications to the organization, which may force Paul Heyman to find a means to contact The Tribal Chief. Solo Sikoa claims to have spoken with Roman Reigns during his break and will head The Bloodline until his return. The Wiseman may finally call Reigns on Friday to find out if Sikoa was speaking the truth or lying the entire time.
