This week’s SmackDown is the fallout show from Crown Jewel 2024

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown will be aired live from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York, United States. The November 08, 2024 episode is the Fallout show from Crown Jewel 2024. The Crown Jewel PLE concluded on November 02 at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This week’s episode of the Blue brand will feature some of the biggest stars including Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. Reigns and Rhodes will address their plans after the Crown Jewel PLE. WWE Tag Team Champions, MCMG are also scheduled for an appearance on the Grayson Waller Effect.

Ahead of this week’s show in Buffalo, New York, here we take a look at the top three things to watch out for in this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

3. Kevin Owens attacks Cody Rhodes

The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is scheduled to address the WWE universe this week after his victory at the Saudi PLE. Rhodes defeated Gunther in a ‘Champion vs Champion’ clash for the inaugural Crown Jewel Title.

There is a potential that during this segment Kevin Owens might attack Rhodes as the two have had a recent fallout at Bad Blood 2024. Rhodes’ teamup with Owens’ fierce rival Reigns was the reason for the dispute. Their fallout also cost Owens his friendship with Randy Orton. Orton and Owens faced each other in a grudge match at the Crown Jewel PLE.

However, the match never started as the two stars started brawling outside the ring and decimated each other before the bell even rang. After dismantling The Viper, Owens might target Rhodes who he originally started feuding with, as he would look to settle the score with the champion too.

2. Roman Reigns confronts Sami Zayn

On this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Jey Uso invited Zayn to come on SmackDown and settle the misunderstanding that transpired at Crown Jewel. Zayn accidentally helluva kicked ‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns in the aftermath of the match between the rogue Bloodline and OG Bloodline.

The potential of Reigns confronting Zayn is very high as The OTC would be looking for convincing answers for his actions from Zayn. Sami has clarified that the attack was unintentional, it will be interesting to see if the distrust deepens or if Sami can convince Jimmy and Reigns.

1. Solo Sikoa attacks The OG Bloodline

Solo Sikoa‘s Bloodline is riding high on their victory against Reigns and The Usos at the Crown Jewel PLE. The faction planned to inflict severe punishment on the team of Reigns and The Usos but the plans were hindered by Sami Zayn.

There is a potential chance that Sikoa might attack the OG Bloodline again to send a message. Sikoa is also frustrated with Reigns and company as they still not have acknowledged him as their ‘Tribal Chief’.

Solo could attack Reigns during his segment where he is scheduled to address the loss at the hands of The Bloodline. Sikoa could also attack Sami Zayn who appeared to join hands with Solo but then betrayed him to join The Usos side.
