Top three ways how Triple H can keep Cody Rhodes in the spotlight after WWE WrestleMania 41 loss

Cody Rhodes losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to John Cena at WrestleMania 41 Night 2 was the kind of heartbreak that hits you right in the feels.
The American Nightmare gave it everything he came this close to winning, not once but twice! He had Cena down for the count, but guess what? No referee in sight! Classic WWE chaos, right?
Now that Cody’s no longer carrying that shiny gold, fans might worry if he’ll fade into the background. But hold up, there’s no way WWE lets that happen! Here are three ways WWE can keep Cody Rhodes in the spotlight and hotter than ever!
3. Reigniting his feud with Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre has emerged as one of WWE’s most dominant superstars in recent years, with a high singles victory record.
The Scottish Warrior was screwed by CM Punk several times over the last year, yet he kept fighting back and finds himself one step away from the world title. The final of these attempts resulted in a successful admission into the 2025 elimination chamber.
Notably, Cody Rhodes had insulted Drew McIntyre prior of the premium live event by not treating him as seriously as the other contestants. The Scottish Psychopath was plainly upset, but he couldn’t touch Rhodes at the time.
After burying Damian Priest, who, according to McIntyre, leeched off Punk’s work whenever he was screwed, the Scotsman could go after The American Nightmare. A match with another big talent would keep the former Undisputed WWE Champion afloat.
2. Cody Rhodes turns heel
Cody Rhodes is undoubtedly one of the most popular babyfaces in the world. The American Nightmare told Chris Van Vliet on his Insight podcast last year that he does not envision himself becoming a heel.
Furthermore, he refused to be the bad guy throughout his stint with AEW, telling the Jacksonville-based promotion’s supporters that he couldn’t turn heel because of fan loyalty.
Rhodes has now been confronted with a harsh reality. Not only did he lose the Undisputed WWE Championship because he wanted to stay good, but he was also booed by fans on this week’s edition of RAW.
Even John Cena blasted out the WWE Universe for booing and dumping Rhodes when he dropped the belt, showing the fans’ hypocrisy.
For several weeks, the Cenation Leader has been teaching The American Nightmare the truth about fans. Thus, there is a potential that Rhodes will succumb to Cena’s comments and turn heel as well.
1. Bringing in Brandi Rhodes as his manager
Brandi Rhodes is Cody Rhodes’ real-life wife. She left WWE with The American Nightmare in 2016 and joined him in AEW, where the couple also split ways. She was last seen in WWE at WrestleMania 41, as she joined the WWE Universe to cheer on her husband versus Cena in Las Vegas.
Now that her partner is in jeopardy again, she may return and turn heel with him. Furthermore, she might serve as The American Nightmare’s new manager, assisting him in eliminating other wrestlers in order to reclaim his position as champion. It’ll be fascinating to see what comes next for the former WWE Champion.
