The special episode of WWE NXT will emanate from Florida!

On last week’s WWE NXT, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, along with Rhea Ripley and Stephanie Vaquer, confronted Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Jazmyn Nyx). This led to a six-woman tag team match announcement for next week’s NXT Homecoming.

The September 16 special episode of NXT Homecoming is set to air live from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. The show will feature multiple stars from the main roster, which has created a lot of buzz among fans.

However, ahead of the show, General Manager Ava has provided a devastating update, which has caused some changes in the six-woman tag team match.

NXT General Manager Ava made a major update to the card for the upcoming NXT Homecoming event. In a post on X, Ava confirmed that Tiffany Stratton was not medically cleared to compete following her recent WWE Women’s Championship match against Jade Cargill on SmackDown.

As a result, Stratton was removed from her scheduled six-woman tag team match. Former NXT Women’s Champion, Lyra Valkyria, will replace Stratton in the match, a change officially announced by the GM.

“After her WWE Women’s Championship Match on SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton is not medically cleared to compete at Homecoming. As a result, former NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria will be taking her place in the six-woman tag team match against Fatal Influence.” The GM revealed.

As mentioned, Stratton’s latest match was a title bout against Jade Cargill on last Friday’s episode of SmackDown, where Nia Jax attacked her after the match. The details and extent of the injury she suffered during that match have not been revealed.

Bryan Alvarez mentioned on Wrestling Observer Live that Tiffany Stratton seems to be fine, but after a tough moonsault to the floor on SmackDown, WWE feared she might be placed in concussion protocol.
