Triple H heralds record breaking success of WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024
Survivor Series 2024 was telecasted from the Rogers Arena
The 2024 edition of Survivor Series: WarGames took place in the Rogers Arena, Vancouver last night and was the final PLE of 2024.
The Vancouver show features five matches with two WarGames clash and three title fights. The two Bloodline factions collided in the men’s WarGames match where the OG faction along with CM Punk emerged victorious.
Team Ripley (Bayley, Iyo Sky, Naomi, Bianca Belair & Rhea Ripley) took on Team Morgan which consists of Liv Morgan, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, Raquel Rodriguez & Candice LeRae. Ripley exacted her revenge as she pinned Morgan to pick the win in the women’s Survivor Series: WarGames clash.
Gunther retained his title against Damian Priest with a late interference from Finn Balor. Bron Breakker too retained his title in the triple-threat action against Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser.
On the other hand, Shinsuke Nakamura triumphed over LA Knight to capture his third United States Championship, further solidifying his legacy in the promotion.
Survivor Series 2024 set an all-time North American arena gate record
WWE’s COO and legend Paul ‘Triple H‘ Levesque spoke with the media following the show. Levesque shared his thoughts on the night during the post-show press conference.
Levesque began by expressing his gratitude to the Canadian fans for creating an incredible atmosphere throughout the night, stating, “Canada always brings it, and Vancouver is no exception.”
“WWE set an all-time North American arena gate record here tonight. Sold out, 17,828 in the building. That’s our 63rd sell out for the year. We’ve had quite a year, and its wonderful to be able to cap it off here in Vancouver.” Triple H revealed.
Triple H continued by discussing the significant changes on the horizon for the Stamford-based promotion, particularly their groundbreaking shift away from traditional broadcasting and partnership with Netflix.
He referred to it as a key element of WWE’s global expansion, calling it a “game-changer” that will be crucial to the “next evolution of WWE.”
The COO also praised the roster and their incredible performances at the Rogers Arena. He then congratulated Nakamura on winning the United States Championship, noting that it was great to see the Japanese star looking “reinvigorated.”

Levesque also commended Bron Breakker for his “growth and the incredible performances he’s delivering.” As for the Celtic Warrior, he described him as “always being Sheamus – he keeps pushing forward, never stops, delivering one banger after another.”
