WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner’s son and cousin of one half of World Tag Team Champion Bron Breakker, Brock Rechsteiner, was recently suspended by the NFL for the first six games of the 2026 regular season.
The New Orleans Saints undrafted rookie wide receiver was suspended for violating the performance-enhancing substances policy. Rechsteiner is once again back in the news; however, this time it is not related to the NFL but instead to WWE.
WWE will offer Brock Rechsteiner a contract once his NFL career is up
According to a report from Fightful Select, a WWE executive expressed interest in signing Brock Rechsteiner when he joined the Saints and believes his recent suspension will not affect those plans.
According to the executive, there is a “99.9 percent chance” WWE will offer Rechsteiner a contract once his NFL career comes to an end.
The report also noted that WWE officials have been keeping tabs on Rechsteiner since his college football days and will not likely require him to participate in a tryout, as the promotion is prepared to sign him directly.
Rechsteiner has also expressed interest in pursuing a career with WWE when the opportunity eventually presents itself. Additionally, Scott Steiner, in an appearance on Busted Open Radio in early 2026, revealed that WWE CCO Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque offered Brock a WWE Next In Line deal (NIL) deal.
If Rechsteiner eventually makes the jump to WWE, he would become the second active member of the Steiner family to compete for the company, joining his cousin Bron Breakker, and would be an intriguing addition to the roster.
