[Watch] First look at the WWE WrestleMania 40 stage being assembled

WrestleMania 40 is the upcoming professional wrestling event hosted by WWE. It is the 40th edition of WrestleMania, which is scheduled to take place two-night on April 6 & 7, 2024 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is the first time WrestleMania is being hosted in the state of Pennsylvania since WrestleMania XV in 1999. This is also the first WrestleMania after TKO merger & without the McMahon family in majority control. 

Since being the longest running and most successful professional wrestling event, WWE has been planning to make the show one of the grandest WrestleManias of all time. With just days away from the grandest show, here is a quick first look at the WrestleMania 40 stage setup.

First Look at WrestleMania 40 stage

A WWE fan on X (Twitter), posted a glimpse of the WrestleMania 40 venue being assembled for the grand show. The “WRESTLEMANIA” letters are placed on the stage in the middle of the ground. The Lincoln Financial Field Arena, the outdoor stadium is quite huge and feels similar to the WrestleMania 31 and WrestleMania 28 venue setup.

This is the second stadium event of WWE in 2024, after Elimination Chamber, which took place in Optus Stadium at Perth, Western Australia. This stadium seems like it could occupy more than 90,000 audiences at the same time. WWE also previously announced that more than 90,000 tickets were sold out for both nights and is expected to break previous year’s record.

WrestleMania 40 Events in Philadelphia

WWE is also hosting a number of events in Philadelphia in the WrestleMania weekend, in other arenas of Philadelphia.

The Undertaker’s 1deadMAN Show will be held on April 4, 2024 (Thursday) at The Fillmore. WWE World at WrestleMania is set to be held from April 4, 2024 to April 8, 2024, throughout the WrestleMania week in the Pennsylvania Convention Center, where a number of events such as video games, fans meet, Pat McAfee Show, Slammy Awards 2024 are also announced. 

The Wells Fargo Center will host the April 5, 2024 episode of SmackDown followed by The 2024 Hall of Fame on the same day, NXT Stand & Deliver the next day (April 6, 2024) & Raw after WrestleMania 40 on April 8, 2024.
